Hunter eats better in the middle of no where out of his truck than I do at home....Petitioning for there to be Pauley's place at the top of a mountain overlooking a glacier that requires a lifted vehicle on 35's to get to and all he serves is cast iron cooked food.
Crazy how everyone has such bad condensation issue with the gfc, but I’ve never had a single issue with it. Not sure what I’m doing differently compared to everyone else.
Right? I mean I've had some condensation issues in certain climates when not ventilating properly too but I've figured out how to avoid it most of the time. And its an issue in a lot of other tents as well. This guy clearly has a bone to pick with GFC and takes a jab at them every chance he gets. But hell probably delete this comment like he did my other one when I called him out for it. Just another lame youtuber that only pushes products that he "collabs" with.
@@SDfrank4 No need to delete when it's free speech man. I gave honest feedback after 100 nights in my GFC and after coming from a CVT Mt Hood. I have nothing against GFC but I feel like folks should know the product they are getting as I wish I knew more about the product prior to purchasing. I will be doing a 6 month review of the Super Pacific and note the differences between the two.
Just my experience of camping with it after nearly 100 nights. Happened numerous times and I know with others as well. You can look up other RU-vid folks who have expressed the same issue of the "waterfall running down the roof". Not my term or keyed phrase but found it relatabled to what I experienced. Glad to hear you have zero issues with it!
@@hunter_pauley Well my comment is gone but whatever. The point is every where I turn whether it be here, instagram, facebook or even the GFC forum I'm sure to find you in the comments adding insult to injury and sometimes even adding plugs for SP or other competing companies. That's not honest feedback its just not cool and a bit cringeworthy, especially when you are affiliated with those companies. Just bad ethic in my opinion. I think SP makes a pretty cool camper and I agree they've done some things better than GFC, I even agreed with you on a lot of the issues you've had. But I don't whine allover the internet and then jump ship within a year because they weren't meeting your demands to implement changes that you might think are so easy. Maybe keep that in mind before you make another 45 min video of biased opinions trashing GFC like the last one.
@@hunter_pauley hell yeah!! I’m in Washington state salmon and steelhead fishing is my thing steelhead is a fish of 10,000 cast tricky buggers! ✌🏽Fish on my man!!
U seem cool af, subbed. next time I’m out west I’ll show ya where to drift that fly! I’m seriously considering the super pacific but I’m not sure I wanna spend the $$$
I've got a weakness for camp spots by the train tracks. Nothing better than a river with the train going by. We float camp the Deschutes river and the train always goes right alongside.
100% agree. This spot is perfect because the train is close enough to hear it, but not too far where you can't hear it at all. It's a nice ambience with the sounds of nature and then hearing it pass in the background.
Thanks for the kind words! And yea the wind was whipping and you could hear trees falling on the other side. Decided it wasn't worth it to try and stick it out.
@@hunter_pauley Thanks for getting back to me. The MKC knife is perfect! I’ll be purchasing soon. What about the tee “more mtns less assholes”? I need that to. Can’t seem to find it online. Thanks
@@cybrah the shirt I got in Stanley ID but I’ve seen it elsewhere. For example, the Locsha Lodge which is near the Idaho/Montana border had them there as well and in the two different version - more trees, less a$$holes and more mountains, less a$$holes.
It's pronounced KOOT KNEE FALLS. I've been there done that in all travels in the North Western part of MT. If you need any other input for must see travels in this area hit me up. Can recommend many places to travel.
Haha that makes it much easier to remember! I've heard it pronounced so many different just like the county I used to live in long ago named "Meagher". People would butcher it all the time. If you have some bucket list items or recommendations, shoot me a DM on IG!
It was an amazing spot for sure! I am using a mic that plugs into the port but have it turned down maybe a bit too low. It will clip sounds from or sometimes it's way too loud in some situations. Appreciate the feedback though and I will see what I can do!
@@engineerofalltrades It's from Steadfast Systems. It's technically a tool roll but he has modified it slightly for my liking and to act as a kitchen set organizer.
I tend not to give him too much of the stuff I make unless I can control the ingredients a bit more. Been trying to eliminate some foods due to allergies.
