Weekend trip to Inks Lake State Park. Dec 15th through the 17th, 2017. We spent 2 nights and 1 1/2 days. This park has some really beautiful scenery and a lot to offer anyone who loves the outdoors.

I love Inks Lake. I have rented one of those cabins before. It works in a pinch!!! You captured the beauty of the place very well. Thanks!

Hi Lola!! It is a beautiful park!! You're right....the cabins work in a pinch! I wouldn't want to stay in them often, but in bad weather or really hot Texas summers ... it's not too bad!! Thanks so much for watching!!!

I love doing a search for a video and seeing ones that I know is going to have good info from my RU-vid friends. I know I've seen this video before and it even showed that I had liked it. But it's nice to be able to go back and gather info for planning trips. I booked a backpacking site for me and my boys for one night over MLK day weekend. I was looking for what certain trails would look like.

One of our most visited spots. We hammock camped at 317 down by the water. Haven't done the cabins there yet. Not so sure we haven't covered every square foot of that park. Fun video. Keep it up y'all.

Very nice visit to Inks Lake and I loved the music. At 28:30 on top of that rock formation is where I proposed to Michelle. That made me smile. Thanks

Woah, nice amount of wood! That's the bonus of camping and hiking so close to home - you can bring things like that with you! I think bringing a movie is a great idea. Beautiful lake. Nice and calm water. Too bad you had to pack up from the rain. Like you mentioned, that was a huge site! I like the little cabin - that was a smart idea. That was a big bird just before the 13:00 mark. Must have been a Heron?

Sometimes I like it better when I get to camp and don’t have cell signal so I will leave the electronics alone. Lol. $8 for a tarp. How far did you drive out to get the $15 tarp? Sounds like something I would do. I remember watching the state Parker’s and boho bushcrafter meeting up. That was a good video too.
