I've been saving up Away Team Credits too, very important go "discount" your ship blueprint purchases! I wish I'd watched this earlier, because I burn my Loyalty Chests every month. I don't know how long I'll linger at 49, because the Talios CANNOT be upgraded any longer until Shipyard 50 and that is really getting to be a pain!
You're pretty much spot on. Research is extremely important. I'm a 49 and on top of maxing out the Research Rev mentioned; go as far as you can in the combat tree. If you're in a forever war like my server, you'll need it😉
A talios t8 requires 8.6m charged nanoprobes! Good luck with that. The whole point of our complaint re Borg probes grinds was that we didn't want to do it because it took too long. Their solution? Forcing an increased grind if we ever want a useful talios. I'm not happy with this one tbh
It is a nice video! Most of them I agree. Now I am at ops 53 already pressed the button for ops 54. In my opinien you need at least two rare g4 tier 7 ! So your rep grinding get much faster up. My Pilum tier 8 now and My kori is soon also tier 7. Two grinding ship (rare g4 ) is better the one! The way to 15 Billion is very long. More loot form Solo Armadas is also not bad! I try to skip the uncommon g5 ship and try to tier up a epic g4 so he can reach 53 then later 54 space. I think uncommon g5 take to much resource what i need for my buildings For 56 + Hostile you need a rare g5 anyway because of the warp range other wise you have tier up the uncommon g5 quite high. With the Help of Fleet commonder the warp range of epic g4 ships go also higher. With new Tailos the credits sourcing is much easier getting! I think it is debateable whether to skip the epic g4 or not. The new PVE Meta build around epic ships. Maybe it is another video. To get a nova is not a big deal if you do dual faction . You can get form both faction your Nova bp. You forget g4 miners! At the end of the 49 it is easier to get g4 miner! I think two of them is recommend. I have only one Nova his protect chargo is not that good. The mining speed of g4 ships are very smooth and have more protect chargo. But you can also mining with you feesha to get your daily done. For Speed g5 mining you go to the new token space.
Appreciate the video. As a 42 FTP, I don’t have too much insight on what would be helpful. But I did hoard (sort of by accident waiting for a good treasury) 2 treasury unlocks until after ops 40. The 10-15K 4* uncommons were quite helpful. I imagine doing this at ops 50 might be helpful as well.
Now this is a video that i wanted. Im at 47 with just battlepasses spending. And ive enough to get to 48-49. The camp will be real until i finish all those checkpoints

This answers a lot of questions, although I'm camping at 47 for now, until I'm a lot further through the solo armadas and I'd definitely recommend that before even thinking about 5*!
I have recently gone to ops 46. My kelvin is almost tier 7 and I am just waiting on my shipyard to finish then will get the Korinar. I have feds at the 1b lock and 500m rep with klingons. I am now working on research but waiting on events to maximise my returns. Good video with a lot of good advise. It's nice to see that I am ahead on some elements and on par with the rest..
Thank you for the video! I just started ops 46 and been wondering what to prepare for the future. I just realised that I'll have some major crystal pain again soon (Pilum, Defiant, Talios are all interceptors)
Thank you, Rev. Going through the check list, I'm mostly well ahead on the milestones I've reached or have just made it there in regards to the Rep one. Credits and Defiant I'm significantly behind on. My main rare 4* is not far off of T7. I' hoping there's an actual spend slb to push some of the spent to get over the hump, I don't spend uncommon+ mats unless I'm getting leaderboard points for it. Mantis is T8, and rocking. Defiant serms to have the issue of me not getting enough of the specialty parts. I'll DM on discord fir advice. Overall, feeling pretty good about the idea of hitting G0 on ops 50 next spend SLB, and then coasting it till I'm for sure ready to push
Thanks Rev - sitting on lvl 47 and looking at next steps, so this is super helpful! Would love more info on things like Nova BP sourcing / cost, etc. and some of those 50+ things that seem to be missing from a lot of info sites
Nice vid rev. Good for long term planning! and indeed, the refinery 4* is utter trash at 41, 100% agree. I dont even pull them anymore since it feels so pointless.
Just made 46. Already pushing for 53. I won't camp at 49 any longer than I need too. So long as you can finish dailies, camping only hurts when between tiers. Don't camp when the next level you will get the next tier Mats from events and battlepass.
I am ops 47 f2p on server 170. I will never camp. I understand your reasons for arguing for it. But i have always felt that, since a person needs to get used to being patient, you should saturate yourself with as many rss while you wait. So if I were to stay at ops 49 while I stockpiled, I would miss out on the progressively higher rewards of higher ops while waiting. Being f2p I will rarely win slbs anyway. Dailies are easy. Just thought I'd give my view, but I am totally happy to be wrong. Love the content never stop 😁
I have to disagree with camping at 49. The amount of rss, ship parts, 5* mats, etc you need in 51+ are high. The sooner you get there the faster you will start collecting them. The daily mini events are actually worth doing unlike in 40’s
always love your video's rev and find them very helpful, but this really isn't a strategy game, it's a sticky grinding game. 10% is strategy, 90% is just grinding. This problem is getting orders of magnitude worse, best example is this 3M trit grind making the time commitment go up, not down. Really tired of managing miners and getting very little for the effort. Hopefully yourself and the other content creators can get this message across to scopley, been playing for 3 years and giving this 30 days for some changes before abandoning which is unfortunate since I really did enjoy the game in the past, it's just turning into a task now.
I’m 46 and starting now this month to make the jump to 49. I would like to get to 50 for highways a lot but the primes from the 5 star UC are seriously good as well. 50 is going to be a serious killer to get to but needed. My main pain from that list is the Frank A. Millions per level it takes forever
Camping is fine for when you have been really lazy with your research. If your research is semi-okay, just go and push ahead. The game isn't fun if you need to treat it like a work project that takes you months of planning to just progress relatively naturally. If you progress beyond a certain point too soon and you feel like you're stuck, then camp there and work through it. 53 should be the goal folks. Get there ASAP. Then you can camp as long as you like. Heck bring your friends and family and live there for all I care.
Hi Rev, I'm operations 41 and I will move to 42 in the next spend slb, but the refinery is no way close to best but it helped me save up just a few thousends of g4 uncommons.
Just went to ops42, and the month I was at ops41 the refinery sucked. I mostly got commons, maybe 100 uncommon. Going to be here a while with all the ships I will be working on before going to ops46. But I have always planned way a head so I'm not stuck or shocked when I go to the next camp lvl.
Is it nice to have certain things on this list.. yes. Is it needed... no. went 51 a week ago with a T6 pilum and a T6 valdore. Franklin up high is a sort of must though, got that at 11 now (10 then) Defiant T4, Cerritos t6, mantis T6, no Talios yet and a maxed Amalgam. I have no trouble in the 50s yet. Locked all 3 factions at 1B and im keeping them all 3 above 1.1B currently until i have enough BP for the Nova. After that i will be dropping one of them down to 1B again. There is no need for a harsh list but it will also depend on the time you can put in the game. grinding hostiles for the current battleship event can be a bit of a pain with an Augur... ;)
Seriously considering how long I can keep playing this game, far far to much grind! lvl 44 today, could easily bounce to 46 but it seems every lvl increases the grind. I’m afraid if I lvl up I’ll end up quitting…
Sounds like you want to camp then, 44 is a very long level, but it's a good place to camp because you can buy 46 ships in the away team store. At 45 solo borgmada chests increase in cost, and at 46 bajoran chests increase in cost. If you save for 46 ship, and do the jump from 44-46 quickly, it will save your a lot of headaches.

Although: My goal @49 is to keep my Talios as low as possible ~T5 to be able (for a lower cost) to get refined borg parts, I feel if i go higher then i would need 2 talios to keep up. Same as what i did with vidar, or ill spend all days killing borg probes lol
You haven’t mentioned anything about the bajoran store. I’m at 49 and have hit the 50 button but am sticking at 49 so I can work on all the extra research tree. It’s sooo go for f2p or low spend people. Outweighs jumping up to quickly. I open all 3 boxes most of the time in that area, uncom, rare, epic. If I go up I’d be able to do 1 box. Maybe 2 and that me hitting the 52, 51 solo armadas
You a little answered it but I'm looking for a little more info why we would camp at 49 instead of 50? My main counterargument is that its nice to be at the top of an SLB bracket. I am only 45 atm, is there something I'm missing?
I've been OPS 49 for awhile now but I do not see the benefit of going to the 50s when the event brackets are 51+.... when is Scopely going to make smaller brackets for events?

I went to 52 with no lock at a billion, but rep comes faster as you level. It took me a year to get to glorified with one faction and a month to lock that at a billion
Scrapping to me is not rewarding. Invest a lot of lat for part, rss are not the problem. Then time to level and time to scrap. Compared to bajor store, the rss you can buy outweigh the ship scrap. My opinion.
I haven't spent any money on the game and I do just fine. My amalgam is maxed at lvl 39. I get alot of msgs wondering how I get so far in to deep space
i am ops 18 upgrading to 19. I find myself making sure im fully upgraded before i upgrade to the next ops. In my mind i would rather be strong for my level then upgrade to quick. the question is am i hurting myself by staying on each ops longer? Also fully Free to play. Thanks in advance.
Now needs an update to include the lvl50 epic requirement for the Borg cube and the Cube itself, plus Voyager requirements. Just hit 49 and thought it was a good spot to stop but the faction credits needed for prime faction are insane if you include the Epic purchase or you need 2 lots of faction credits saved one lot for lvl 50 epic and one for 53 UC. Wonder how many players had to go back and build the 50 epic because their cube got level locked?
I’m lvl 46; less than 30m from having the 1b faction lock in Rom. At what point should I lock it in? (I’m assuming with the faction lock, 5* Crystal mining is required in the dailies)
The top level tier in the game has always been like this. Once ops 61-70 is released, the economy for 5* will improve to usher all of the lower spending players upwards, to be food for the whales.
I think it's just plain stupid to camp at ANY level. What's the point? Why do you need to camp to catch up? You can catch up while you're progressing. You'll get more rss and mats, and will spend less for upgrades and buildings with more efficiency researches available as you progress.
Most of the dailies are tied to your faction rep, not your ops lvl only thing that might trouble you is the swarm, but the amount of mats and rss you're getting from higher ops lvl far out weights any benefits you'd be getting from the dailies.
@@RevDeuce Certain what dailies? Both the faction hostile hunts and the mining dailies are bound to your faction reps. Only thing that will really jump up in difficulty is the swarms, and what do you get out of the swarm dailies? Just the resources. And you just get a lot more rss at higher ops lvl. And leaderboards? Camp to win the leaderboard events? dunno if you stay so low that there's just no one else to compete, this might make sense, but would it be worth it? I don't think so. Event difficulties? Seriously? I've looked through and through and just couldn't find ANY valid reason to camp at any level. I actually took your advice and camped at 39 for 3 months and that was the worst decision I made in this game.
I call shenanigans for anybody who says they are level 50+ free to play. I bet there’s money that has been spent on those accounts. And if any monies on those accounts, it’s not free to play to stop calling yourself free to play.
