Love the video 👍 I’ve never camped there but I started fishing at the age of 5. I will be 56 in May. My best fishing spot is by the gazebo, Beach side of the buoy line. round 3 until close.
I been coming here for years since i was a kid, my parents loved fishing and camping and since they are not with us anymore, I still camp there and enjoy fishing and just enjoy the view. Hoping to motivate people to enjoy the simple things of life too. Glad you like it! Thank you for watching 😊 🙏
Hi yes I went camping a few months back at Bonelli Bluffs rv campground which is the campground just above the lake. $75.00 a night full hookups. Pretty nice the spots overlooking lake😊
Thanks for your videos! They have helped me with places to go for my own adventures. I kayak at Silverwood, but have not camped there yet. It's a good little lake and close enough to L.A. Keep exploring Alex!
Just found your channel . Awesome camping trips . 👍 We just purchased our home here in San Bernardino it's been difficult these past 2 years ,before we would go to sequoia lake isabella , the Colorado River but All our money went into the purchase, and we had to put off camping . This year, we want to go at least once our trailer is just parked in our driveway .😢 ... Have you camped in the Laughlin Area ? If you haven't, I suggest you go to a campsite called Telephone Cove it's the Colorado River, but it created a beautiful beach . It's free, no hookups. Bathrooms but no showers. There are videos here on RU-vid about it just don't go on a holiday weekend gets ridiculously full... Silverwood looked like a better location . Roaches, no thanks .them are some super mutant roaches 😅😅😅... lake Perris nope .. You got a sub from me ... 👋
Oh Thank you so much. There's so many great campgrounds out there that's hard to pick the next one. I will definitely try that one. Be safe and enjoy life😁
I think you need to do more of this. Since we don't live far from there the wife and I have camped there several times. We always stay on the top part the road noise is not as bad. Hay and next time take a plug in heater use there electricity not your propane 😂
I'm glad you left the comment section on. Which campground you do you personally like more if you looked into tent camping. This one at Silverwood Lake or Dogwood, Serrano or Hanna Flat?
Either one is great lots of shade for the summer. Silverwood has the lake for fishing and beach to swim Dogwood no lake but close to mountain town and farther away lake arrowhead and big bear
I just did two nights of camping at cachuma lake, but was not impressed with the camp sites. It was super hot and very uncomfortable, lots and lots of squirrels, crows and all kinds of birds that were so annoying. The ranger said there was an unusual overgrowth of sqirrels. We were there 2 weeks ago. You were in silverwood in Feb? I wonder when is the best time to go, when is not hot, and not so cold?
I really like your channel. I just subbed. You're very informed and well versed in the camping culture and that is really impressive and certainly appreciated! I think you would be absolutely great at being some kind of camping organizer for group camping. Maybe start your own group camping tour business, right?? It was just a thought ;) Thanks for the awesome videos!!!
HI there...Well Thank you so very much. I just want people to enjoy the outdoors and have more options. Hey, that would be a great idea. I thought about that too.😁 Thank you for watching. 🙏
@@xplorewithalex9752 you are DEFINITELY great at what you do! Please keep it up and I’ll for sure spread your channel to all the people that it would benefit. Hope your channel is prosperous:) best wishes
Make sure you get a carbon monoxide detector if you're going to be using that buddy heater in a small enclosure like that. Technically, you should also have an open window for fresh air too.
Hi there...I have a Trilium Trailer. Yes sometimes when too cold or too hot. But I figured all of these types of trailer have that. So I leave a window open a little and it helps. I hardly notice it .😊
Wow Alex thats a dope set up you have and good for you for exploring be careful but I am sure you got it I love Silverwood my buddy used to live in Cucomonga so I used to trailer my little Kawi Jet Skii down there and we would have bbq and I have skii around the whole lake there is old remains of houses that are really cool to explore. Such fond memories of Silverwood. God Bless you- Heath
Hi there ... I also have great memories at Silverwood Lake as a kid, we didn't have much, but we had so much love from my parents and camping was one of those things that made us much closer as a family. So, a few times a year, I camp there to remember the good times and reconnect with nature. Thank you and God bless you too😊😇
@@xplorewithalex9752 Wow Alex I feel it I grew up in Salinas its a farming town just inland from Monterey and know what is like to not have much being an only child my momma and gramma used to take me and my cousins to San Antonio lake which is really cool too. I am up North in Sacramento now but would love to live in So Cal one day it is really fun. Keep up the fun life is short and we are never promised tommorrow. When you cut the Steak with scissors it reminded me of the movie Cobra with Stallone where he cuts his Pizza with scissors!!!!!!! LOL the food looked so delicious!!!!! God bless you dear- Heath
🤣 hey Sacramento area has great lakes and camping spots, too. I was just there a few weeks ago in Salinas. Well stay safe and yes enjoy life as best we can. Thank you so much. 😊
I just love that you do these types of videos. I was transplanted in SoCal, due to my work, not familiar with camping areas here. So thank you. Do you do BLM sites as well. I don't like people🤭
Hi... As of right now, no. Who knows, maybe later on in the future. I completely renovated it even though it was in excellent shape. I've had motorhomes and trailers but wanted something small to travel and pull with my car and that I can still go to all camps without issues. I love my " Suzie" that's what I named her😁. If I ever decide, I can let you know. If you're looking for something like mine, check Facebook market. I recently saw 2 or 3 up for sale. They are really comfortable for 1 or 2 people. Ill keep you in mind.😊
