Looks amazing , what wonderful memories your boys will carry with them throughout their life. Fabulous parents and the river swim looked so much fun . Fabulous video …. 💕
Just fab, well done Lyndsay for driving, jeez I just couldn't do that. We've got a twin axle caravan, and by gum I close my eyes many times on the motorway. Bless Trev, I don't know how he does it...xx I'm just loving your travels, keep safe 😊xx
I’m on catch up! We stayed on that river many years ago, not sure if it was the same campsite. My children loved the river! My daughters were little and envious of their brothers, so we vowed to return ( not got there yet) thanks for the memory jog!
This is great entertainment, I am sitting on a Sunday night in Ireland having a tipple , then I found this channel you guys are brilliant , you have a new subscriber
Wow, what an amazing start to your trip. That's one place I'm definitely going next year when our new caravan arrives. Thanks for sharing and looking forward to your next stop. Safe travels all.
Three brilliant things about this video. In reverse order, the toboggan run, the river...but in first place, the Welsh Towel. Class. Thanks guys. Keep well and safe journey.
That looked amazing guys from the river to the tabogan ride and a friendly looking campsite. Well done Steve on the tabogan ride and still filming at the same time. Thanks for another cracking informative video
Great video , as always very informative 👍 👏. Looks like your having a ball and tremendous singing in the van ! 😀 Great holiday spirits 😊👏 keep up the good work.
fab video!! me too with meat eating lyndsay... strange cos i do usually love it, but finding Im craving veggies, pulses etc. That river did look so much fun too x
The Bobsleigh cool, I remember going on one in Norway just like that one Brilliant. Looks a very nice camp site and Ellie always makes fajitas when we are a way. Love them too Joe and Ellie
Steve - your a legend, We start the video off with Smokey & the Bandit, National lampoons & Convoy!! We all know how time consuming editing is, But we appreciate your time doing it - Keep on trucking Radfords!!
Hi guys just preparing for our Swiss trip! Really enjoying your videos and tips! Having problems finding out info regarding paying for tolls if over 3.5t, what did you guys do?
It reminds me so much of Lovely places we used to visited when we lived in Germany many years ago also which were free. Its a shame we don't encourage more outdoor free activities for the young people in England these days. Looking forward to the next video 🏊♀🏄😃
I looked the campsite lots going on and the ride up on the train the views were beautiful, but you wouldn't get me in that river to fast flowing 😊see you next time stay safe
Great video, instantly attracted by the scenery, it’s been a few years since I sold our motorhome but I’m thinking of getting another, my question though is are those site charges typical because to me at least I thought it was very expensive?
Would love a go on that river, looks amazing, need advice is your black windscreen cover as good as the silver ones? Want to get a cover and like the look of black ones. Tia …
Hey Les, it’s all in the description, I’m sure the price will vary depending on size 😊 Campingplatz Eichholz +41 31 961 26 02 goo.gl/maps/NuHnozaM4reyZQmP7 w3w.co/tiptoes.works.hushed
The tolls vary, but we seem to be paying way less in our new motorhome and I believe that’s because of the height. I think we spent less than €100 euros in tolls so far
That surprised me, plugging into mains to get back to 100%. Do you know roughly what your typical daily power consumption is? I expect with 3 lads on board its going to be a decent amount with everything needing recharging.
Having the 3 boys on board and charging loads of tech is very marginal compared to running the air conditioning and coffee machine, they’re the 2 things that suck the power, although the coffee machine only gets used for maybe 10 minutes a day, but if we leave the air conditioning running then that’s when we use loads.
@@RoamingRadfords ahhh...forgot you had the air con. Everything else is insignificant compared to that. My Tassimo machine only draws 2a per cup ...so even if we go nuts it's not a problem 😉
A sticky Flange on the Turbo Appently caused power to Fail within 10 miles of leaving the Dealership which is Very good & renound. I have faith in my Motorhome with 11.000 miles on clock.
Looks really great out there but don't give up the day job for a career as singers lol What's the new coffee machine you've got and how big is your battery bank? Hope you have an amazing rest of your holiday and safe travels. I cant wait to see Croatia and Montenegro. I have great memories going there with my dad when he had a motorhome cheers Dave
Hi Steve, Lyndsey and the boys, loving the new videos of this summers trip. Can you tell me when I went to Switzerland about 9 years ago we had to buy like a road tax which came in the form of a sticker which went on the weight of our Motorhome and I believe we purchased it at the border or we pre-booked it before our trip, do you still have to have one of those now.
Ha ha ha we told them our motorhome was 3500kg because at the time it was on weight I believe over that weight you pay HGV prices, you must have fallen into that category with your big bus.
I'm still baffled by the angles mort stickers. The mirrors on my van are so large and wide angle I don't have blind spots like I do in a small low down car. Especially with two rear cameras. The video looks great in 4k BTW.
@@RoamingRadfords As long as it was refreshing! The boys really enjoyed it and how brave was Ed jumping off the bridge. I bet he didn’t want to be shamed by the girl next to him. George is growing up and becoming an independent young man, river surfing without Dad, just his big brothers.
Thanks guys! Yeah, we’re really looking forward to getting it done! Hope you’re all having a fun trip so far! We’ll be following along on RU-vid to pick up some ideas!
We are currently shooting our summer road trip series and you’ll see snippets of our vanlife lifestyle in these. We hope to do a van tour video sometime too.
