@@CrosbyGraceTravels My hikes are all off trail. Some harder than others. Red Canyon, Devils Tombstone, Burnt Draw, Tub Springs, North Spur all are great. Some harder than others. Here's my highlights from last year. It does a good overview of some of the better places. If camping there in a tent, you need to watch out for the raccoons, who will get into all your stuff at night! They raided our cooler and stole our weinies, took a bite out of each one and scattered them all over the campsite. 😮
May I offer a slight suggestion? Get another hose for the black water flushing. I've watched some serious 🤢 stuff being connected to those taps that you do not want anything that goes to fresh water to get near. I got an orange one and just keep it dedicated for that purpose. Great to see guys out and about enjoying the 17MKE. Ours is sitting under a cover (not a carport type but actual fabric one) waiting till July for our next adventure. Stay safe!
So My wonderful wife and I are about an hour north of Dallas. I was researching Palo Duro and saw your video! Subscribed! We are looking to book in April. If you were looking to book again and could pick any specific site or loop (Mesquite, Sagebrush, Hackberry, or Juniper seem to be only RV loops) to book in PD, which would you choose and why? Any PD advice? We have a 30' KZ connect 241RLK TT.
