I was stuck in Scotland a couple of years. I heated up a couple of pebbles the size of my hands on the fire. Put them in the tent. Kept me warm all night. Very helpful these survival vids ♡♡♡

Ive also experienced those rocks burning through a tent and wool blanket. Old dry socks a ducttape fixed that! I guess make sure Make sure they arent river rocks or they explode.

I love the snow storms and camping in it! Even though it can be a bit challenging, that makes it that much more exciting, knowing that you have to survive the elements. That was an exciting video to watch and I enjoyed watching it!

We finally got some real snow out in the Midwest, fun to hit up the blizzard last week. Most snow we have had in 10yrs. Great video!

Even in snow, you never get precipitation on your camera lense. If I were going camping in the snow, I'd pack a snow shovel with me, and I'd align the pitch of my tarp lengthways along my tent so that I could use a steeper pitch and accumulate less snow on top. I would also have collected my firewood before it snowed, and kept it well covered by the tarp, even if I had to carry a small tarp to cover my wood pile. (That seems to be the American solution: always carry another piece of gear.) I thought it was clever to saw part way through the thicker fuel and then break the log instead of sawing through it. That bird seems to be in all of your videos. You should use him for a logo. Nice flask! I enjoyed your video and finally subscribed!

Actually alcohol does warm you up, it expands your blood vessels and that makes your extremitys(legs, hands) warmer but that also makes core colder and you loose more heat through skin so you are evenly warm and loose heat faster. On sepperate note, drinking booze same as eating will activate digestion in the stomac and that will produce heat, its good idea when camping in cold weather to eat something before sleep to make yourself warmer through the night.
