Nasty fall! I'm glad you didn't hurt yourself or your camera gear. As to the landscape I can only say WOW! You must come back there in winter time for some hot tent adventures.
Yeah, I understand . Doing photography, I always try to get what I need charged the night before, but it isnt always possible . It can get frustrating . Ive always got something on charge in my car constantly, to keep things topped off .

I hope you're ok after your fall. It reminds me of when I fell off a stepladder. As i was coming down i told my niece that i wasn't afraid of heights, but i was afraid of falling. As soon as i said that my foot missed the step, and i fell flat on my back.oh yeah, I was 79 at the time. 🥴 Fortunately, i wasn't hurt. I hope you weren't, either.

Speaking of falling in the wilderness...consider yourself lucky..it could have been alot worse..I have done around 200 rescues in all types of terrain and weather conditions..some fatal. Many wish they had some sort of tracking device.thats what you need
