At the beginning of our backcountry camping trip in the wild, we noticed some signs of rough weather, but we decided to continue on our adventure. As soon as we started to cross the inlet, we were hit by strong winds and large waves. It was an intense experience, to say the least.
Despite the heavy rain and high winds, we thoroughly enjoyed our time in the wilderness. We spent the night camped out in the backcountry, enjoying the peaceful sound of an owl and a warm campfire.
Backcountry camping in the rain can be an intense experience, but we loved every minute of it. Even when we were canoeing in stormy weather, we embraced the challenge and had an amazing time.

Hi everyone, what a crazy start to this camping trip, eh? Those waters were pretty intense. Following that craziness, I managed to bear spray myself when arriving at camp. That lasted all day and into the next day. Can you see when I switched shirts? I didn't mention it in the video or show it since I was washing my clothes and myself in the ocean. Luckily, I only got sprayed on the stomach, chest, and into my mouth, but I didn't inhale too badly, so it wasn't too bad. However, my chest was burning all day, and the more I sweated, the more it burned. While setting up the tarp, someone threw a piece of wood into the bushes with a nail sticking up. Unfortunately, I stepped on it, and it went right into my foot. So now, I'm treating a foot with a nail in it, and I'm tired from that canoe trip in high winds. But I still really enjoyed the trip, thanks to my awesome camping partner, who really carried the workload of getting wood and setting up camp. What did you think of this video? Have you had any crazy water experiences? Cheers, Dave.

The GoPro never does it justice. Some of those swells looked crazy! A peaceful end to the day though👍

You got that 100% right! If anyone would understand that it would be you! There were some scary moments in there. Exactly a much needed peaceful end considering the day we had or me specifically lol. Thanks Dan for the comments. Cheers, Dave.

Excellent trip. You guys need to get a Hobie Tandem island for those waters. The speed and distance advantage would really expand what you can do in such a nice area.
