Great advice. :) I like the transitions. :) Might try it out next time. And I love that you actually tell people to dispose of trash properly. We need to travel more responsibly. Last thing you want is children playing with rubbish!

Oh cool, I didn't know you can use the palettes as firewood. The app providing safety information would be helpful. So the instant tent set up is asking the wife to do it, ok gotcha, all note taken!

Great tips always had that the dessert is cold at night. Would like to experience that one day. Oooooo didn't know v about this muddy sand. Instant tent ⛺ 😄 😎 interesting that so many ppl are driving b around in the desert 🏜

Thanking for this insight into desert camping. It's fairly desolate but I would guess the dark-sky aspect will mean fantastic views of the Milky Way and planets. Where would we all be without pallets? :)

Those pallets sure come in handy. Thanks for watching Terry. Yes you get a great view of the night sky that's for sure. I think there are some better spots in the North West of the country to do this though. Something that was really cool was the bioluminescent algae that we could see in the water once the moon went down. Really unexpected!

First time seeing dessert camping, but yeah great tips guys, at least not many animals/ insects like in a usual camping, but just wondering, does it rain a lot in Qatar?

I doesn’t rain much at all. Maybe a handful of time each year.

Hi can I ask where to buy the electric pump for the water? And do you have any idea where to buy big tent pegs?

We got the electric pump from Lulu’s. To be honest we don’t use anymore. The battery doesn’t last too long on it. You could try Decathlon in Villaggio for the big tent pegs. They’ve got a lot of camping gear there.

Hi! First, may I say the tip videos where very helpful. Second, hope you don't mind but I have a question for you guys. Do you know if I need a permit to camp 1 night (1 tent, 2 people) during a week day? Thank you and continue with fun videos in Qatar

Thank you! Happy to hear you found this helpful. No you don't need a permit to camp 1 or 2 nights during the camping season. I believe you only need a permit if you are setting up some sort of long term camp. There is some more info on this in this video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-m4mg0_4-mhA.html
