Hi everyone - Tony does so much for us as his members and viewers, that I would like to do something special for him: share how he has impacted my families life. I work full time, my husband is on permanent disability for grand mal seizures, an amazing special needs son (Down syndrome & autistic), and a beautiful 24 year old daughter raising her 17 month old daughter and working on her doctorate. I’m always trying to find activities for us to collectively do that’s fun and creating memories. That’s where Tony comes in. We noticed our son was watching Tony for hours at a time and creating tents inside the house; so we decided to watch Tony with him, and loved his adventures! We have recently purchased a tent for him to camp inside the house with his dog Ferrari (an Italian mastiff) / he loves it …. and we have upcoming family tent camps scheduled. To say we’re excited about our new family outings is an understatement. *We’ve used his Amazon link to help purchase our gear. Thank You so much Tony for everything you do. I love the cold, wet, snow, and “miserable”, according to Tony, camping. For some reason it is relaxing. I feel like Tony realizes this and brings us along more for the hard camps. I appreciate it. I do miss Brucie…

hi tony :) i found out i had cancer this this year and for the past 6 weeks ive under gone aggressive treatment, last week i just broke down crying due to the pain from treatment and i prayed to god to just give me the strength to carry on, while sitting here , tears rolling down my face i put youtube on and one of your vid was there (camping in the rain) i just played the video and was instantly hooked , i love the rain and hearing it ,everywhere you go camping is just beautiful and the love you and bruce had for each other just melted my heart and gave me and instant smile , im now down to the last video of camping in the rain and ive loved every one ive watched , you and bruce made me laugh smile and all the above , im so sorry he passed away he was such a character and clearly a much loved part of your family,i look forward to watching bruno grow and i just wanted to say thank you for your wonderful video and im looking forward to binge watching camping in the snow :)

Tony, this camp in definitely grim, properly chucking down rain! Looks miserable until you get your tent up and get warm. I remember the Bruce & Bruno trip. Bruce wasn't terribly happy with a pesky puppy. 😄 So glad you got Bruno when you did, and what a sweet dog! Thanks for taking us along and demonstrating how to camp, dry and warm, in the rain.

Great vid, it's taken me 4 years to buy the perfect tent for me a Robens fairbanks grande, as for heating and power well that will take alot longer, but I look up to people like you that show what can be bought and achieved, though you are way of my league when it comes to your stuff, but I plod onwards and upwards. Like you I have been on a journey of getting through the grief of losing a much loved dog, my Dom passed away from cancer a day after you lost Brucie. After 8 weeks we couldn’t take the empty space any longer and got a puppy and like you we at times call our little fella Dom. Its all part of the journey. I’d like you to know I only recently found your channel (not long before Brucie passed) and camping with you has been an absolute blessing and great help of coming to terms with our loss. Here in the states, we use that style of heater in the sleeper. It is called an Espar heater runs off of 12 V for the fan and ignition and sips diesel right out of the 150 gallon tanks. It is a must these days with fuel prices the way they are and to stop idling trucks to stay warm. In a small cab, you have to set a thermostat to regulate the amount of heat. Otherwise you’ll wake up sweating when it’s 10 below outside.

Love watching your interaction with Bruno. I am glad I got to meet Bruce and saw your video at the Tops. As a rustic camper I really like having campfires but, like you, I hate smelling like smoke. I simply like playing with the fire. I have learned many things from you as I did not know anything about air tents. Being older I may need to change to one so it is easy to set up. I won't go down lightly when it becomes difficult to handle. State Parks no longer for me. Give me the forest.

Bruno can be seen but the rain is harder to see unless there's a lite behind it then you can see it. But it's dripping off the tent and awning over you so we can see how much it's raining.. Looks like you got a bigger table.. yeah....I can really hear the rain now. Just letting you know cause you always ask if we can see or hear it. It's great that you have heat...I hate being cold when camping. My bones hurt. It's great when you can have creature comforts when camping It makes it even better.. Good food and a great place to rest your body. and to be warm and comphy. Good show..

Nice and easy breakfast I'm sure you enjoyed it. I also assume there is less stress with that vs remembering all of the stuff to mix a powder mix properly and no flipping of the product in the skillet.

Thank you for everything you do for the camping community. I’ve learned more from watching your channel than any other in the field. I know you have done some pretty extensive reviews on products themselves but I’ve also seen you mention some more technical info re: tarp set up, knots, etc. if you could elaborate on the specifics of what techniques you use that would be hugely beneficial. If you have already gone over this please let me know what video to watch. Keep blocking the haters and doing you. You have so many fans that support everything you stand for (Lewis Hamilton being low IQ and a complete hypocrite had me laughing so hard. I’ve been saying that for a couple of years). I hope you really enjoy the Darche 270 Degree Awning. I use a lot of Darche products for camping and they are so well made. It’s an Aussie brand that is gaining a lot of traction here in Australia. Bruno certainly is adapting to camping, it’s wonderful to see. I love how he side tilts his head. ❤

I've yet to find a modern tent as good as my 6 birth frame tent with separate kitchen, lounge and dining area. Good old times lol
