Camping in the Troopy

We all need a break from our routine once n a while. Taking a step back and looking at the world can be quite rewarding. Anywho, glad to see you back and sharing that gorgeous area you live in.

Welcome back mate and on ya for being honest & true to yourself. If you don't feel like doing it, just don't! That's the best! Also, the Troopy looks sweet for camping, nice!

Great video!! Thanks for sharing the beautiful scenery!! I absolutely love camping..... especially in a great spot like you have there! I have a 2001 Land Rover Defender that has a nice camper custom installed on it and we love going out and just beating the brush and finding a great spot near a small lake. Cheers!

I think you said to me once before that if you won lotto we were going to travel around oz making travel vids .. hurry the hell up and win it will ya .. @MichaelSpeaks Sounds great! I like the Defender's. I nearly bought an old series 3 Land Rover years ago. It was an ex-army long wheel base with a canvas roof. That was cool.

ah it was so good to see you again. I sometimes want to stay out of the tubes. when I am feeling upset mostly. I know though that all I have to do is look up some friends or look up a video of me feeling fine and it will perk me up. I wish I could go camping with you. perhaps if you come this way you can come camping with me?! good times. yours Earl

@HoneymoonCampers I love it! Now I'm 700km away in the middle of nowhere, wishing I was sitting in that spot again. I need a holiday. :)

@stooge10101 My biggest tip would be: drive on the left side of the road. hehe, seriously, Australia is HUGE! I guess it depends on where you're starting from and what you want to see. The place has everything from snow to tropical rainforest. When did Shay send you? :)

Mate i went to autobarn and got some window tint $22 for a 3m roll its simple to put in coz ya got square windows. Did it on my 1985 toyota landcruiser swb i love it baught it few weeks back

@brindabellaoffroad Thanks mate. I love it. Tight tracks can be hard work with no power steering, but it's a good workout for the arms. Got a trip planned in October... up the Strezlecki to Innaminka and Cameron Corner. Thinking of leaving the Patrol home and taking the Troopy. :)

@DownUnderDoug I've never seen anyone else camping in that spot. Most campers out there seem to take caravans and camper trailers and it's a bit tight for them in that spot. I do feel safe there.

@dustyrustee Hehe, well that one wasn't too bad. I added too much water and didn't stir it enough though. Needed a bit more salt and pepper. I'd rather eat something out of a tin, but for motorbike camping it would be alright (it's light and compact).
