Camping Near New Orleans, Bayou Segnette State Park, LA. a very nice campground-2 

We spent 5 days camping in at Bayou Segnette State Park just out side New Orleans and explored a good deal around it. It is in the "city/village/parish" of Westwego with lots of city resources around it. But the campground it self is nicely secluded from all that and well built with good facilities.
