Became a fan when you was doing drain unclogging. Then you got into culverts and battling beavers. Then your crazy adventures and explorings and now these camping videos in culverts, the wilderness and more are just awesome. Enjoy your videos Post and always looking forward to new uploads regardless what you do. Enjoy your content alot
I love Post 10s content, no politics, no drama or click bait, no gimmicks, just an every day person doing what makes him happy. A happiness so many of us need in our lives.
Wow - a two part multi-hour camping video is just what I needed for the rainy weekend ahead. Thank you for everything you do to keep us entertained and educated!
@@brennanreidy2389 The river is extremely frozen and he is not in any danger of the trucks or falling logs. Those of us who live in the woods and camp in the winter months can honestly say he does very well with his supplies of food, warmth and safety with Bear spray & radio communications. He is not a stupid man and he is not harming himself or anyone else. Of course that's my opinion. You are allowed yours too. Edit: Spelling.
@@Mandy7D7 Yep, combustible cans of bear spray right next to a propane heating source. Really in touch with his survival knowledge. Sure, he brings a nice supply of the lastest lunchables with him. I've spoken at length with professionals, and I myself have spent many weeks in the woods, and I can confidently say that this is a show for youtube. Nobody should emulate or praise this kind of insanity lol. Did he test the ice once? Not even close. I could go on and on, but I think people are so stuck in protecting their youtube buddy that they choose to be blind to the moronic things he does.
Your videos make a viewer enjoy the simple things which is a great change of pace. Getting excited about a rig crossing a bridge on a cold frosty night - that’s getting back to the basics. Love it!
Imagine you're just trucking along, doing your trucking job trucking things and out of the quiet night you hear Post's voice pop on the radio... "Hey everyone." 😳
The man in the truck who stopped and spoke to Post has no idea how many people around the world heard him. Kind of crazy. Probably will be really pleased he was so nice, one day he will find out he was in the presence of an Icon.
What a great adventurer. I love your videos. I would've been too scared to sleep on the river, much less use a heater on the frozen river. Heck, I would've been nervous to even cross that bridge. You're fun to watch Post! Keep up the great work.
I'm going to miss the cold temperature videos. My son Keith said "but we get culvert videos". Ok, he's right but still going to miss them.😊 Thanks for the video.
It's Friday evening. End of a mind-breaking week behind a gray desk in a gray building in a gray city. A new notification pops up. Two new videos from post. It's a 4 hour two-parter. The universe balances itself out. I am at peace.
That was pretty cool of the driver to stop and talk to you. Good to have people that care enough to check on strangers. If you'd had your cb radio on, I bet you'd have heard him letting other drivers know about you.
Post 10, always a champ. Giving us the timestamp for when the camping starts right at the beginning. I always watch the whole video anyway. I get anxiety about the idea of starting a 90 minute movie because it seems like too much of a commitment, but I'm always game for a long Post 10 video! Thanks again for all the content!
@Post 10 I found your channel a couple weeks ago and I haven't been able to stop watching it lol. Everything you do opening old food cans or unclogging drains is like the best ASMR therapy ever lol. You're someone I could really just hang out with and get in to doing cool things with.
Amazing, first a field trip to the hot springs and now an over night camping trip on a frozen river. Thanks for the amazing trips. Keep up the awesome work
You can absolutely use tomato paste on a pizza, just be ready for an intense flavor. I used to make a snack-pizza with tomato paste, prosciutto, banana peppers, and blue cheese. It was intense. Edit: most people will greatly prefer that squeeze bottle pizza sauce
You can also dilute the paste with water and a bit of oil to soften the flavour, mix it with an Italian herb mix, salt and pepper, and you already have a servable pizza sauce.
As former police I wouldn't tell someone you're alone, perhaps tell them a few of your buddies Are under bridge or they will be coming to join you any minute!
Those trucks going so fast over the narrow wooden bridge is terrifying! Those drivers are crazy. I always stay for the still shots at the end. Always beautiful .
Man your camping videos are legit and very enjoyable to watch and listen to. You are very authentic in your approach and your communication with your audience. Oh, and what a very interesting improvisation with that stove, turning it into a pizza oven. Lol! That was so cooI. Also, I know from truck driving experience that theres a high possibility that 95% of those truckers were looking out for you via their CB radios. Chances are each one that passes by you told the on coming trucker down the road to watch out for you. Thats just what truckers do particularly in rual areas like that. I appreciate your videos man. Nice work! 👍
Post 10 is enjoying himself, watching the truckers do their work, driving by over the bridge. We are enjoying ourself, watching post 10's video about him doing his thing, camping on an icy river. Funny.
When I lived in Monroe, Maine I always carried 10 - 50# bags of traction sand in the back of my 1978 Bronco along with a 8’ Western Snow Plow in front because my driveway was a pretty good uphill incline and if the sun melted some then my driveway be wicked icy ❄️ , Maine is awesome, love your videos ! Keep up the great work !!
Sounds like torture to us Az. natives. Don't understand wanting to live in such conditions. Totally frightening to me. Maybe desert heat and running into rattlesnakes and cactus is a torture concept to some🤷
😀!!Absolutely Brilliant!!😀 Love these camping videos and this is my favourite one so far... but I say that every time I watch a new one!😀 Thank you Post 10! 🤗
Camping on the Saint John River! That's awesome! I live near that river but much further away haha. I found that exact spot on Google maps! Another great video!
As a kid, my mom used to make "Pizza Bread". She would butter the bread (to keep the sauce from soaking in too much), spread spaghetti sauce over each slice, apply some sliced pepperoni, then shake some parmesan cheese over it and bake it in the oven until the underside was golden brown. We weren't well-off so this was the only pizza I ever tasted until I was a teenager. When I made it for my grandkids they loved it ! So if you don't have the proper ingredients for pizza you can still get a decent meal. Also, they now sell a spice-mix called "Italian-Spices" which can be added to tomato sauce or paste to make a pretty decent spaghetti sauce.
Awesome video ,Post! My thoughts on the video.Thank you for bringing the clock! You drove soo long I thought you were in Canada. Nice ride on the sled :-) Your neon hat really stood out. I also liked your camo. I liked seeing you talk to the camera. Smiley face! Did you get a buzz off the Jack Daniels?:-)I guess I need to send you a pizza cutter and sunglasses? Looking for the hat on your head. It happens to all of us. I did like the truck video and your smile at the end :-) You are the Man! On to part two of the Mini series.
I absolutely love your blanket I love it's comforting on a cold night. Plus I envy those who get to enjoy awesome winters like this. Where I live you could die a heat stroke in January. These videos are like an escape into a winter wonderland that I never get to see in person. I'm a fan for life.
Great smile on you! I love your camping videos, I'm always learning and excited on what animals you might encounter. Absolutely beautiful location and pictures, thank you so much for sharing with us!♥️🤗
3 hrs or 7 hrs, we don't care Post, we're here for it👍😃. That was by far one of your best over night vids.. keep'em coming🙏👍🤣. Can't wait for the next night. Felt like we were about to get run over by a truck😂😂
If you take a nature reserve live feed and camping with your cousin and turn it into a VR experience, this is what you get. It's awesome. Les Stroud is doing a Survivorman VR, now that I think about it.
It blew my mind when he said that he had to go 86 more miles up that road to get where he was headed. I live in urban Canada and driving that distance would take you all the way from one end of the Greater Toronto Area to the other, passing through the whole city of Toronto and almost every suburb on either side. Meanwhile, in northern Maine (or northern Ontario, for that matter), that trip is just hours and hours of trees and dirt where you're lucky to see a few other cars en route. It's just unbelievable how huge and empty massive swathes of North America are.
I was expecting the cold to kill the camera battery. I figured a truck would stop to check out a light in the middle of a Frozen river. Glad you enjoyed your camping.
Post 10 another excellent video really enjoyed watching your vehicle does the job it reliable what a beautiful place you do a good job always keep safe Andrew south wales uk 👍 👌 😀 🇬🇧
That conversation with the truck driver in the morning was awesome. I might be wrong but he almost sounded like he had a Chiac French accent, which is a regional dialect from the New Brunswick area. It's similar to Cajun French from Louisiana.
Two Camping Videos in one package! Seems like Christmas and Birthday at once🤩 I see, you have two very unusual and exciting places choosen. Thank you very much for a long post10 camping evening! All the best for you and ghost10❤
“I had to buy these on my cross country trip because I was sleeping at Walmarts every night and that can sometimes get loud”. That sentence made me laugh so hard. Love these videos man keep up the great work
I have a Coleman 4P Darkroom tent(great for sleeping in late) I take for car camping and absolutely love it! They are exceptionally waterproof and a breeze to setup! I like the porch built in, good for places with bugs. 🍕🍕🍕
Absolutely Love these 1-2 hour long videos, my ol’ lady even gets into them as much as I do and she never gets interested in any RU-vid videos I watch. So that says a lot. Lol…. But, I Love watching post 10 because he don’t complain about a thing Ever. The kid has No negative energy at all. Keep doing you post10, we are here buddy for the long Haul.
Loving Florida and dont miss winter one bit! Spent my life up in NE. Love watching these videos. Post please be careful way out in the middle of nowhere. Lot of concerned viewers. 👍
Awesome another camping video! Been watching all of them! I was going to say if you like fish, I would like to see you get a full size fish and cook it, it's just a bigger meal and maybe with some vegetables! 😎 because we enjoy the cooking part as well!
That was another epic camp. You survived the minimum of - 24 Celsius!! I enjoyed the time lapses and photos at the end. I think that was a raccoon as I thought I saw the tail marks, yes you can use tomato paste as pizza sauce, some just water it down slightly, also might be harder to make a smiley face on your pizza base. 😂 Also have you ever considered a small personal epirb or other satellite device for when you’re truly isolated? Keep up the great work, now I get to watch Part 2 🎉
Love these videos, you put in an incredible amount of effort to get to these places and to get all these amazing shots for us, I hope people appreciate just how hard it is! The CB - You will be able to receive signals from much farther away than you will be able to transmit with the small antenna. Its certainly better than nothing, but the wavelength of a CB at around 27mhz would be Much much Longer and the best transmitting antennas are super long metal whip antennas. You can improve your signal propagation by going to the Highest position you can find (dont transmit from under the bridge). Think of how Radio Towers are all located on the Highest mountains (they do this to get the best signal propagation) If you go to the Top of the nearest Hill or climb into a tree, your signal will go much farther. Oh.. and at Night time (when the Sun is completely set, not dusk or dawn) AM signals like CB radio will go MUCH farther! At night you may even hear signals from hundreds of miles away! (the sun ionizes the atmosphere, but at night the atmosphere acts like a Mirror and the signals can bounce back from it and travel huge distances!) Love the videos! (Im a radio guy, love that stuff too! )
Regarding your question about the radio, with the frequency used by CB radios, they use what is called "ground radio waves" (higher frequency, lower range) The maximum distance you could get with that kind of radio waves, even with the most powerful is about 20 miles because of the curvature of the earth! It is the same as VHF we use on merchand ships. There are other types of radios (like AM radio for example) that use frequencies that bounce in the sky and you get an increased range! With that CB you have, the emission range is probably only just a few miles because usually portable radios like this are usually only emitting on 1W or less. The trucks though probably emit the full 20 miles because they have more power (probably 5W) and it allows them to reach further! Your antenna will receive for up to 20 miles but probably won't emit very far at all unfortunately. You should check how many Watts are used for transmitting.
I finally get to watch this. I saw that you posted this video this morning, and have been looking forward to it all day. I hope that you enjoy making these long videos as much as we all enjoy watching them.
I’ve noticed that most of the time the biggest inclines are right at the road so I think if you had a wench you could mount to a hitch or even strap to a tree then it would be a lot easier to get your sled back to the car. Just an idea. I love your videos! Thanks for all the work you put in!
Thank you again for a interesting video, I just wanted to say that it was nice of you to include a discussion with someone else. Usually you only say that you had a discussion with someone, but here we were also let in on how it went. I am so inspired by you and the things you do, that me and my friend are now planning a winter camp weekend together. Love what you do, keep on doing it, and dont worry if your videos get too long, they cant get too long, just include discussions with road workers, truckers, loggers, or anyone you encounter. We would love to hear that too Stay safe man! All the love, and keep being awesome!
hahahaha I see why Canadians have a reputation of being nice, listening to that truck driver. He even mentioned the smiley face. I bet they were chattering all night over the CB about a tent down on the lake lol.
Whatever you eat know this...! I eat ryt along with you, I cant help it! So you never eat alone my friend 😋😁 x Thanks for another amazing post...post 10 x
