Situated approximately 390 kilometers away from the capital city of Cuiabá, Campo Novo do Parecis is a city that will leave you spellbound. The journey to this enchanting place takes around 5 and a half hours, but the mesmerizing sights and experiences that await you make every minute worthwhile.
Prepare to be captivated by the natural wonders that grace this amazing city. Within its borders, you'll discover a paradise of untouched beauty, including the Balneario Rio Verde, a mere 15 kilometers away, where you can immerse yourself in crystal-clear waters and unwind amidst picturesque surroundings. Additionally, the Salto Belo waterfall and the stunning Utiariti fall promise awe-inspiring vistas that will leave you breathless. Don't miss the chance to visit Balneario Aldeia Rio Sacre and Salto da Mulher, where you can marvel at the pristine rivers and cascading waterfalls nestled within the indigenous Pareci lands.

Just a few days ago, I had the privilege of joining them as we rappelled down the Salto Belo waterfall and rafted through the exhilarating rapids of the Sacre River.
Beyond its natural wonders, Campo Novo do Parecis boasts a robust economy that has earned it a place among the most prosperous cities in Mato Grosso. With a per capita income of R$ 104,000 reais per year, it stands as a testament to the city's economic power. Notably, Campo Novo do Parecis holds the title of the largest national producer of popcorn, supplying movie theaters across Brazil. It is also a leader in the national production of sunflowers. These achievements can be attributed to the city's extensive agriculture and cattle-raising activities, supported by cutting-edge technology and efficient resource management. Such factors have resulted in increased productivity, reduced costs, and exceptional profitability for the region.
Campo Novo do Parecis has become an agricultural powerhouse, boasting vast plantations of soybeans and corn spanning almost two million hectares and one million hectares, respectively. It takes pride in its responsibility for 80% of Brazil's current agricultural production. Moreover, the city has implemented an integrated system that combines farming and semi-confinement cattle raising, adding another dimension to its economic success.
