Driving tour of Sector C
Follow on from my first two videos of driving around Sector A & B which I did a few weeks ago. Further videos of Upper C and Sector D to follow.
Hopefully later in the year I will make a full review of each Sector showing what it has to offer.

Good video Shaun - you can really tell by the width of the roads and the blanked off outlets on roundabouts the developers had plans for even more building. The local council really do need to have a go a tidying up the road edges, lookin a bit overgrown. We find it a struggle also in Gran Alacant to get the Santa Pola council to spend time on our surroundings, some of the communities do a good job of looking after the gardens around by us but the main roads need the council to come and tidy up

Thank you Richard, glad you enjoyed the video - once a month we might get the road sweeper in the streets. Local council only do the odd street to try to fix lights and maybe paint white lines. Each sector has a volunteer garden group who tidy the streets and keep the areas clean, at the moment they are trying to catch up from the the lockdown as you can only be out in the sun for a short while. Interesting video. Is C the sector with the subsidence problem? I was told by an estate agent there in Feb this year that when the ground was levelled off the builders did not let the ground settle before building. Have you heard that?

Looks like what we call a bedroom community, no corner store or anything. I love the houses there. Very pretty. Some where in the middle of the video you forgot to turn of the music so I couldn’t hear what you were saying. Why did this hotel shut down?

Thank you, glad you enjoyed the tour - the hotel only opened a short while when the golf club opened but not enough paying guests at the time (2007/8) and closed. Bought nearly 2 years ago and was going to open last year but didn't and this year with the virus - still closed. I will let you know once it opens again. Many thanks for watching :)

@ no problem Shuan, your videos are a godsend to me when I'm stuck here in the UK. Hoping to be moving out permanently in October. Hi Shaun. I dont know If I have mentioned this before but there is an area on C that is a real mess with subsidence and villa's (literally) falling down. Do you know what is to be done ? There is a fairly recent post on RU-vid - look for "Camposol Homes from Hell 2020 Update" that came out in October. I'm really interested in your viewpoint because you are there and know the area so well. It looked (in that video) that someone was having a go a repairing one - but they look to me worthless. The houses directly behind see in OK condition and lived in but they must be nervous. Could you do a walk past video yourself ?

Hi Richard, I did a video tour of Upper C which is the area you are on about. I've been here nearly 5 years and still no work on these properties. Some people own these and have just left them and others have not been sold. Some have been bought and builders trying to sort the problem but most not. Watch my video, and you can see the problems. I always say, come and look yourself, would you buy that property? Would you get a survey? You pay for what you get, there are plenty more on Camposol to choose from. Channel 4 - A Place in the Sun just done the Mazarron area and Camposol. Many thanks for watching :)

Check my Play Lists. No, that's on D. Upper C - they should have waited to the land to settle as the levelled off a hill and posed out soil ether side to build on :)

That's the golf clubs driving range which they don't use anymore. Hopefully one day they will get the driving range up and working again. Many thanks for watching :)

8:00 that looks like a pygmy burrowing owl. Hard to understand you when the music is on at the same time. I’m surprised they allow parking on both sides of those narrow streets. Could cause a clog if cars aren’t properly staggered.
