Camposol Today Spain  

Watched a documentary a few years back about this place and a lot of the houses were collapsing and the ground washing away when it rained ,did this problem get sorted ??

I’m watching this video and all I can see is clear skies , no congestion, not far from the beach and a mountain range in the background. I fully intend to move somewhere like that as soon as I can ....... perhaps not live there permanently but spend a significant proportion of the year there. Bloody great 👍🏻

Don't think I'd like to move there it looks so soulless did think about it before I moved over , now very happy in Torrox park near Málaga

First thing that I notice is neat roads , neat pavements ,no litter ,no rubbish , no fly tips [easy to do on some of the perimiter sections ]. I should think Residents should be feeling chuffed about this , I know I would .

Brilliant, so helpful to us, our house sold just waiting for it all to go through, then we will be buying in camposol.

Been watching your videos for a while and have enjoyed them that helped us buy a home in Spain 🇪🇸 We bought our home in Sucina not far from Camposol this year 😁 We looked in Camposol and all over the Murcia region before choosing Sucina. But unfortunately we’ve not retired yet so only holiday at the moment 😢 But in 2023 we’ll come out. Can’t wait. Thanks for sharing your journey as I’m certainly convinced it helped us buy a home in Spain 🇪🇸. Thanks Stevie and Corinne.

Great work Shaun! Nice tour. I noticed the pavement was quite uneven in many places on your drive. That is not something I would expect to see in a warm climate. Thank you for sharing with us.

Camposol looks to be a nice quiet community, lots of sidewalks and open area to enjoy the big sky and scenery. With all the dense forest where I live, sometimes, depending on where you are, the only view of the sky is straight up because the trees block the view. Luckily there is a lot of elevation changes, lakes, fields to see past all the trees. You, Shaun, have shown us in many of your videos of your life being retired, moving and living in Spain and how that all works being an expat of GB. You are pretty adventurous and the whole concept of relocation for retirement would be daunting for me. So, that is one of the elements of my enjoyment in watching your videos, knowing your whole perspective is of someone who had a life somewhere else and has chosen to pick up and is not only experiencing a whole new life in a different country with different language and culture, but is retired which is a big change itself. I am close to retirement myself now and seeing your videos ensures me that there is a good life after a busy career (especially with same shared interests I see in your videos) Thanks for that, thanks for sharing.

Great video and really useful for people wanting to know about Camposol. We must have taken a very similar route when we visited for the day in June (a very long day as we drove all the way from Costa del Sol). I liked the place, especially sector A but hubby wants somewhere a bit more Spanish. I am attracted to the place for its “journey” and community spirit. We are in Santa Pola next March and then plan to come to Costa Calida in June but haven’t selected an exact location yet. Gotta do the research if you’re gonna buy property in Spain lol! Makes for a nice holiday too 😀

I think I told you before Shaun, I was over in Murcia for a golfing weekend and really enjoyed it. My mate has a villa there. Great tour, Cheers 👍🍻

Interesting Shaun. Campasol is much larger than I imagined, and I thought it was big. Which would you say is the nicest of the sectors? Our bins are emptied every day except Sunday and our mail is delivered (by a very nice postman called Pedro).

a lot of round about i see it. but i have not see one single traffics light for the 12 mins of driving what the heck!! My type of town haha.

So, if you live on sector C or D and fancy a few drinks it's a taxi home? That's assuming there is a taxi service. Does that little train still run round the sectors?
