New to you and love the channel.. We were recently owners of two TT’s a Tab 320 and our large couples coach Grand Design XLS 22mle. We used the smaller for our quick and fast trips to see daughter in TX and Son in Tennessee. We get to drive on avg 72-75 mph with the Tab 320 and great MPG @ 15-17 mpg’s Whereas our Grand Design 62 -64mph on avg and only get 9.9-10.2 mpg’s. … We sold the Tab 320. Eventually we’ll trade in the XLS 22mle and go with a TT that’s in-between. Where we can travel at 68-70 and manage 12-13 MPG’s which is favorable. Don’t forget in your vlogs to include tow vehicles they also make a difference; we travel distance and some ways from retirement. And when you live in Miami, FL just to leave the state it and driving under 65 mph can take you 8 hours to leave the state. We Love the simplicity of a smaller trailer. But we won’t compromise a shower lol and a North to South bed. And our Tab 320 had a wet bath and bed set up was twins and that acted as a North to South.
Great video guys! Content idea for you, the lady in the little trailer mentioned Cheryl having great ideas and Cheryl said something about learning a lot of tips by having kids. How about a video on trailer modifications for campers with small children? We have a one year old and would love to hear Cheryl's tips!
Loving this series of trailer tours. Just want to let you know we just finished driving the Natchez trail as per your recommendation. We were heading from Ontario to Texas and thought we would check it out. We camped two nights on the trail. It was a great escape from the busy interstate. Merry Christmas 🎄🎅🎄
Loving these trailer tours , one would be suitable for me , Love the trilium very cool with the toilet, And using the tote with the sprayer. plenty of room for me. Large awning bonus. Love that area. Thanks folks appreciate the tour always helpful. Merry Christmas and more camping in the New Year.
Great tour appreciating these videos! And was that a Knob Hill basket @ 05:36 lol I still have a few around the house. Liking the shower idea with the sprayer and tote, gonna swipe that one! Thank you!
LOL, I didn't even realize those were a thing of the past until you mentioned it. The old timey baskets fit with the esthetic of the old timey feel of the trailer.
I love the campsite trailer tour series. It's great to get a look at other trailers and the solutions other people have come up with for storage, etc. Thanks and Merry Christmas! See you in the new year.
Great video, and thanks to your friends who shared their home away from home. I'm surprised at how much storage the Little Guy Max has, incredible! We've been camping the past two years with our Jayco Hummingbird 17RB, and just love our smaller trailer. Merry Christmas Cheryl & Ben, and looking forward to more trailer tours throughout the winter until we can camp again!
That's awesome! Funny, you should mention this. Jamie and Kelly actually just sold their Trillium and bought a 2011, 19' Escape after our return from PEI. Hopefully, next season we can do a tour!
Enjoying this series. It's nice to see what's out there and how people make it work for them. We have a 2022 Wolfpup 16BHS and love it. It's easy to tow, fits into most campsites and fits into our driveway. On our wish list for extra room, we are thinking of adding a clam shelter to our setup. Thanks again for all the great videos this past season! Wishing you, Cheryl and your family a very merry Christmas 😊
Thanks for showing how people really use their trailers, as opposed to the factory 'tours' and promo. I'm a fan of small - we have a Volkswagen Rialta. I wouldn't want to live in it full time but it's great for a week. Thanks for making these videos to fill the long months until camping starts again. Merry Christmas.
Try reviewing some of Alto Safari trailers...especially the 17 series and the one we love the 2114 . Only 2500 lbs with a north south KINGSIZE bed a 6 cubic ft fridge ..ample dining table and lovely windows...come on Coles
@@alexkoeslag5699 we didn't know anybody that has one ☹️. All the trailers we've shown are the trailers owned by our friends that we camp with. I'll put the request in with our friends to see if anyone will buy one so that we could review it 😆.
Those Trilliums don't change much over the years. I guess when you find something that works, you stick with it. We're glad it could bring back some fond memories for you. Merry Christmas and happy camping!
