This was simply amazing. We were given project by university to implement this and you illustrated it perfectly. More power to you I guess by your accent that you belong to Africa. Lots of love for you brother from Pakistan. Kudos
Hello, great video and tutorial! I want to thank you for helping me with creating a network like this. I have a few recommendations for you to improve the quality of your videos even more. 1.) You should do something about the noise in your microphone as it is a bit annoying to focus on learning while that is constantly bugging in the background. 2.) You have quite a unique accent. Native African I believe. As I'm not familiar with your accent, sometimes it becomes quite hard to understand some words. So, using closed captions would really help to make your videos be even easier to understand. 3.) You should make a list of what the steps are in a serial order so its easier to pick up from anywhere in the middle of the video if someone is stuck somewhere or is confused because right now its a bit hard find specific steps if I want to go back to them. ALL that being said, you were a great help and I really love this channel. Thanks for creating such videos and keep creating more!!!
Amazing work you've done here , but most of the videos i've seen focus on 3 tier models where the router is the core switch . Can you make a video that encompasses having a core switch connected to a distribution switch which inturn connects to access switches . The core can be connected to a dhcp server . THis specific one has given me some headaches . Once again , thank you for the content
Hiw to implement SMTP and FTP protocol in this particular university campus network IF there is an email server hosted externally on the cloud like in this network
good afternoon friend I have to put the translator because I don't know English so I would ask you if you share the doc to practice the requirements from home and thus have more knowledge in the practices
int the thumbnail image , it shows a different image. there are 2 ASA firewalls but when i open the video tutorial is total different one. i m looking for a 2 ASA configurations ,
Hi, hope you are doing great as per you, where different VLAN exist the link between L2 switch & L3 must be trunk ,but you created access link between them and trunk link between Router and MLS. could you please describe?
Thanks for the tutorial 🙏 But am very confused 🤔 why using both layer 3switch and router?? I think there should be a large collision domain 🤷 though it's a best design for network
I'm confused how the end devices in Buildings A-C got addresses. I didn't see you configure DCHP or statically give IP's to any of those devices. How did they get IPs?
Thank you so much for the effort. I have a Q tho, why do we use VLANS when we already have a different switch for each department? Doesn't that automatically separate department communication channels on L2 ?
my question, in real , you connect such large distance to a branch organization with a physical cable or what......and what connection are making to cloud..thanks
I am working on a project where I need to infer data as regards to jitter, throughput, etc in a simulated congested network, please is it possible to inspect all the traffic flow using cisco packet tracer itself if not, how can I connect it to wireshark pls?
I had to use 172.168 addressing scheme and less vlans but when i try to do the switchport trunk encapsulation dot1q it does not work?? Could someone help me.
I hope there will be a lot of traffic between MultiLayer Switch and Router even though PC's are trying to communicate through Inter-VLAN. Because MultiLayer switch has no role to pass the packet to the router in all cases. However, enabling IP routing and using IP address (Gateway) for each VLAN inside Multilayer switch can easily bypass the problem.
Thank you for your point, we had a strategy of doing projects from simple to complicated networking projects. When you see next projects onwards, you'll get satisfied about your questions.
Excellent thanks for sharing... sir i have one query when we are connecting switch to switch usually we configure that port as trunk port but in this scenario (L2 to L3) we are configuring it as access port.. could u please explain sir....? thank u
Well, you can configure it as an access or trunk but the good practice is we configure as trunk. If you see other projects we did after this, all we improved to trunk. I just wanted to show people that they can use both ways
It is assumed that there will be no any other subnet (Vlan) on each switch at access layer and therefore all the switchports are assigned to same vlan. Also, Please note that no SVI have been configured at access layer and therefore no need to configure the ports btn L2 and L3 as trunks.
@@gurutechnetworks Sir I Losted my all project cuz of using guest version 😭and I cannot purchase it cuz it is not available in my country can you have any solution
Sir, one question here. If end devices in each VLAN are connected through a switch, how can a Cisco layer 2 switch that only has around 24 ports be able to support the requirement of a /24 subnet? (254 usable IP). Thank you!
May I ask, why you use layer 3 switch in the distribution layer since you're not using the router's function inside the layer 3 switch. why layer 3 instead of layer 2 switch
thank you sir but i have a broblem in this part " switchport trunk encapsulation dot1q " it doasn't working i have just native and allowed when i try to complet the command why please do you have a solution
A question, if I moved a random printer server to the layer-3 switch, and configured the same VLAN as the printer. are those printer will still working?
Mate, if I place another l3 switch at distribution layer, can I interconnect all the l2 switches to l3 switch? Because I tried to connect two l3 seitches to a single l2 switch it is showing orange color
