If students really want an intercultural experience, I suggest they take a 15 minute drive to the southside of Syracuse. While not as culturally "enlightening" as Chicago's (former home of Obama before he bought his mansion on "intercultural" Martha's Vineyard) southside, you will have an opportunity to be buy drugs, see how a certain culture REALLY lives when not given hundreds of thousands of student aid money and also get raped, mugged and murdered. Of course, the Dean with the Pee Wee Herman bow tie doesn't travel there.
