Love this track and how ELP sampled it for his one of the run the jewels songs (the undeground scene and how rich it is) most people don't know that ELP made a cult classic under the group name of company flow, it wasn't until until run the jewels made it big it was unearthed. Anyway I'll stop ranting. RIP CAMU!s
Me and my people were listening to funcrusher plus a long time ago and I've been very pleased to hear El P advance over the years. Way to be a wayfinder though. Should be heard and not everyone could be there for it.
He actually sampled the "you should bump my shit like they do in the future" for his song The Full Retard. It's repeated throughout its a hell of a tribute!
this was on his last album when he knew he was dying from lung cancer. he didnt get to complete the album. he is apart of the super group weathermen (with el-p, cage, copywright, tame one, aesop rock, yak ballz, jakki da motormouth) his earlier stuff was more hip hop orientated.
