This week we go metal detecting at an old farm that our friends Joe and Jody invited us to. There’s an old mid-1800s house with a small yard flanked by an enormous field that goes on for hundreds of acres located in a historic area of Pennsylvania so we have a chance for almost anything! As the day stars off we are all doing well, some hundred year old silver coins, Indian cents, some cool relics, but then something unimaginable pops up. Something I’ve never seen before that gave me a huge lump in my throat. We cleaned it as best we could in the field and if this is what I think it is it might change the entire outlook at this farm for day 2! Either way, we’re gonna have to buckle up because this will change everyone’s outlook on this place!
