The thing a lot of people miss is moisture doesn't "stay" in, it's temporary especially in high porosity hair. The main take away in high vs low vs medium porosity hairs is how quickly they absorb water and how quickly they loose it, but all hair over time will lose its moisture and it needs to be added back, some more frequently than others. There's no way to change the porosity, it's in your dna basically like how you can't change your eye color, you get what you get and that's what you'll have forever. high porosity hair absorbs moisture quickly and gets saturated quickly, but just as quick as it absorbs water, it looses it. In low porosity hair its as if the hair is hydrophobic (like it repells water and doesn't want to absorb it) so you have to keep it under water for longer for it to actuly absorb it, but the thing about low porosity hair is once it DOES absorb water, it takes a long time for it to loose it (but it will eventually) and medium porosity hair is somewhere in the middle of the 2. for example my hair is very high porosity and absorbs water very fast, basically as soon as water touches it it gets absorbed, but by the end of the day or even sooner, sometimes a few hours, my hair will be very dry and frizzy.. So, Things that can help lengthen the time before it dries out is adding oil on top of the hair AFTER wetting + conditioning the hair. The oils add a layer over the hair follicles, like a barrier so the water doesn't evaporate as quickly, but like I said eventually the moisture will always have to be added back. For me after wetting, conditioning, then adding an oil layer, Instead of my hair completely drying out in 1 day it'll take maybe 2-3 So the moisture of her hair is mostly going to be up to you staying consistent in her hair hydration days and not letting it completely dry out. And like I said everyone's hair eventually does, it's just about how long that takes the individual person's hair

Hi I encourage putting the hair in protective style and making sure it’s not too tight. Hair that’s tight on the edges tend to give bumps and hair loss. I hope you find this helpful

Hi love I moisturise her hair well enough before styling, you can choose to do this in small sections. then I put oil at least 3x a week while in her protective style. I hope this helps
