LISTEN!!!! I am NOT anti- Braids, however I am against taking them down unsupervised. I am against taking them down and not getting a detox treatment. I know the struggle is real and prices are a bit expensive when it comes to hair but it’ll cost you either way if you don’t invest the time and money into the upkeep and maintenance of your hair and the style. It could be your money or your hair the choice is yours.
My client had faux locs and due to been on bed rest for weeks she had to do it all herself until she could get to me. She comes faithfully and takes her at home care serious in between her appointments. We’ve been working really hard to grow her hair out and keep her hair healthy but as you can see she had a few holes in her hair ultimately leaving her with no choice but to get a haircut. As stated this was out of her control due to illness however do let this be your story.
