Yeah those fireballs had some insane range. They were taking out the Knights before they could even get in range. Good fight overall

Yes! This was a gloriously ironic and beautiful ending. Usually it is Mordor/Chaos with the melee units that are mowed down wave after wave by the overwhelming ranger firepower of the Space Marines/Special Forces. It was quite a treat to see them on the receiving end of that dynamic this time.

Pretty sure those new Nurgle ball throwers might have been a bit much amount-wise. I mean, at the end, the Legion of the Damned coulda won, but those things had crazy range.

@BattleSimulatorCenter And yet you don't try that hard to balance. High damage, high defense melee amassed on one flank, high damage missile amassed on the other. Against an army that's 80% melee, standing still, and outnumbered. They were outnumbered, outgunned, and outflanked. Until you put effort in and stop pooping these out, don't claim it's hard as an excuse when people criticize you. You still use the same music, from this game, when there's plenty of royalty free music that'll work. You got complacent.

Finally a battle where chaos gets to win. When I saw the reinforcements arrive I though here we go again with a battle where the tides completly turn to the special forces favour but that ended up not being the case. A much more balanced battle and a fun one to see! I hope we get more battles where any one may win, would be fun to se a city battle where in the end only one or two troops survive.

Soul grinders have high damage long ranged explosive shooting, good melee and high HP (much better than imperial tanks and more numerous than knights) are the absolute mvp.

All right, for the next battle: With the Special Forces on the beach routed, it seems the civilians will be all but destroyed! But in an act of Divine Intervention, Angels and Arch Angels descend on the battlefield to turn the tide backed up by the new technology of the Special Forces Hydra Fighter Jets!!!

Nearly a good spectacle but disappointing that the tactics of the Space Marines cost them the battle - the Soul Grinders had long rang projectiles, spread out and then concentrated their fire whilst using a trickle of their melee troops to occupy the Space Marines - the Soul Grinders wiped out most of the Space Marines that way including taking out each of the Sentinels and Dreadnaughts - pretty frustrating to watch particularly at the end when the range troops of the Space Marines dawdled to the front lines as all of the Legion of the Damned got slaughtered....

always hate it when one side is fucked from the start by the person setting up the fight. modern militaries know how to move, they dont just stand still. meele marines just standing still, out ranged by everything, takes a real asshole to set that up. Also marines hiding behind the guardsmen, guardsmen with fucking shovels at that, no, marines arnt pussies that hide. Ya, took a real ass to set this one up.

This would have been an easy victory for the special forces if they’d been set to offensive mode. Are you trying to make the bad guys win by employing unrealistic tactics…I understand this whole thing is unrealistic but seriously, how can a bunch of dudes in the second line just stand there while all the guys in front of them get mauled and do nothing…SM curb stomp if on offensive mode.
