I thank God that I wasn’t old enough to be affected by the evil of racism during the civil rights era. Looking back at this time period, it always amazed me how those in power (the government), would feel threatened anytime a black person talked/preached equality, decent human rights for black people. This country was and always will be racist to some degree. The main difference back then was you most certainly lost your life by speaking up for what you believed. There were just so many black people as well as white people who lost their lives for speaking up against racism.

However if I did the one person that I would bestow that lofty distinction upon would have to be brother Malcolm X. Not taking anything away from brother Martin Luther King because he to was an honorable and courageous man, that stood up for us at the cost of his life. But my affinity for Malcolm stems from my being like him and him being like me. What I mean by this is that he spoke the same language as me and roamed similar streets and did similar things as me. I myself seek out why things are so hard for me, and some who travel by seeking their way, by the power of what the country constitution was formed to do for us, not what a powerful human says, who is trying to change the course, of what which it stands for means.. Where I myself see the problem affecting the country, is from both sides fighting to be right, had blocked out the truth against those who see the disturbance in both groups, who do not want any part of what they are creating for the country. Where both negative groups with the rest of negative groups, get their support from one of the two, helping to keep things as they see fit for them. If one seeks out the true rules, by now it will create one of the greatest downfalls in the country, from all the illegal acts in the country had been going on against the real laws of the land.
