Today we find out Can a 50cc Gy6 scooter run 3 variator weights.
After testing this, We find out it actually works. but we suggest you don't try this! It might cause issues down the road that could leave you stranded. Let us do the testing so you dont have to!

i tested this out , definitley reved to high , and changed it right back . was strong up hill but take off was less

Update: I had 3 roller weights in my wolf rx-50 and it worked great for about 10 months unfortunately, the rollers got flat spots and made it vibrate like crazy and it wouldn't go above 41mph when it would do 46mph before, i just got new roller weights and im going to fine tune it.

Glad to see the channel doing well brothers!! Also have yall tried using a performance carb on the 50cc to be exact the one yall got for the yellow 150 from rolling wrench? I was curious if it would work for it

Hey Charles! Good to hear from you again🤘 I think that carb would be a little to big for the stock 50. I'm curious if it would work on a Big bore kit tho! Maybe we will give that a shot eventually

Oh btw you can also run a 729-17.7-30 but that belt is harder to find

3 10g weights is the same a 6 5g ones. I always go by both together anyways. Like if I'm running 6 4.5g I just count it as 9g. So if I wanted to run 3 9g, I could. Thus a set of 6 9g sliders is really 2 sets of 4.5g. better value if you run 4.5g sliders.

In my experience a 4 stroke Honda Vision 50 did not handle removing 3 weights very well, Max rpms all the time and top speed at 20kph but my Yamaha Zuma 2 Stroke had noticeably quicker acceleration but worse top speed

For me, 6x6.8g roller the best, enough launch and speed. Running 100cc bbk. The mpg improved too!

Hi I may run 3. 8.5 g. Rollers in my Tao 50. Why won't they wear quicker ? The preassure. On 3 is more! Per roller

@@williamhaskellhaskell3162 u could, it would be nearly the same as running 6 4.5g rollers. U should always use 6 as 3 might cause the plate to jam and increase the wear on ur weights :)

Do 3 rollers in general hurt the bike? Some say 3 rollers are in balanced and wear the variator bush and pin . Would 3. 8.5GM. 25.5g. Be ok ?
