In 2018 NATO, the European and North American military alliance, organised one of the biggest war games ever enacted named Trident Juncture. This massive show of force included 10, 000 vehicles, 150 aircraft and 65 ships from 28 countries all being shipped to Norway to take part. And for some reason they've allowed VICE's resident dickhead Alhan Gençay to come along for the ride. Will they be able to craft his pathetic millennial character into a noble fighting machine?

Yeah. Top most thing to come to mind is "pointless". Like this is important stuff, of which one could make serious (even extremely critical and aggressive) journalism on. But instead this comic relief stuff. Which is neither very funny, nor informative. Like do they think they will have some effect by making fun of military like this? Military don't care. Heck if they are being funny guys like this, then they aren't asking the real hard questions the military rather not answer. Grunts probably had a good laugh of this guy bumming around. Escorting him probably saved them from some other assignment. Plus he is bumming around about on the plan of "Joe nobody millennial going to military" in an exercise held IN A COUNTRY AND REGION WITH CONSCRIPTION. soooo.... yeah. kinda pointless.

There are a lot of haters leaving comments. I am a US veteran and I thought it was pretty funny. I loved working with the Brits and in general they had a pretty good sense of humor. As for the Butterball, give him a US visa, me a general POA and 10 maybe 12 weeks and my friends at Fort Jackson or Fort Benning could turn him into a Soldier. He would no longer be this over weight selfish, lazy individual with high blood pressure but a fit motivated selfless team player ready to fight and kill on the modern battlefield.
