So much to like about this video, but what really stands out is how you both are so positive and open to the novice community. It's rare to see such experienced off-roaders be this humble, positive and accommodating to the novices. The off-road community is a much better place because of the both of you. Cheers!
Sitting in my basement waiting out a Tornado in Pa. But, life couldn't be better watching a "Lite Brite" vid. Glad you spoke up about the turn assist. There are people that have no clue on the damage they can do. Awareness is everything. Ford is really giving Jeep a run for the money with this training. What a great idea.
I just went through that part of PA buying a used XJ. It was sketchy as all hell and I hope you and yours made out okay. I was going through Philly just when it was tearing the heck out of that.
I've watched what I think is every video on the new Bronco and this is by far the best one yet. Having Kevin and Brittany in the vehicle and documenting a new "novice" driver going through the capabilities of the Bronco was what all Mall Crawler owners need to actually build and drive their vehicles the way they are meant to be driven. Keep up the Great Work.
Wow, Ford really put on a class act event! They did their homework and it's really great seeing a new off-roader have so much fun wheelin'! Great video. Really captured the energy and showed how professional the event really was!
What a great video. Thanks for sharing these kind of events with Lite Brite Nation. Your time is priceless and much appreciated!! Love the smiles on everyone's face.
That's awesome that they offer that for the people. You learn so much from the course, the Bronco can do alot of things people probably didn't think it could do. Appreciate you two bringing us along.....egarly awaiting your next video....Safe travels
I follow a female mechanic from Arizona (Sarah - Tuned) she has ordered a new Bronco and was in Austin Texas doing the off-road course and I suggested to her to watch some of your videos as she would learn a lot. Now I'm watching your video of the same course and Sarah is in a number of your video shots. She is the 6ft tall girl with long brown hair wearing shorts and a red top. Would have been great if you had met her, she is a beautiful person a very good mechanic. She also does reviews of new cars.
Hey Brittany & Kevin Just gotta say thank you for being a bright spot in my day love & look forward to all your videos. Oh yes & Hello Lite Brite Nation
from watching Kev and Brit installing a lift in the garage on the JL years ago, to seeing them being zen instructors on the trail with the Bronco and having the Pres of Bilstein in the car......is Cool! Do Work!!
I have been an avid Wrangler fan and currently own a JK, in comparing the build of the Bronco to a new 2021 Rubicon today I ordered the Bronco. The Bronco gave me more bang for my buck and didn't charge me for every little item I added to it. Hope I made the right decision!
Another reason I enjoy your channel. It’s obvious you’re off-roading/4x4 enthusiasts as much as Jeep enthusiasts. Love the open mindedness. Great video
My wife and I attended this back in June. As a Florida boy who's closest wheeling experience is being a subscriber to Lite Brite, I was impressed how capable the vehicle was, how fun the experience was, and how much confidence I gained. It rained the entire time we were there so several things we weren't allowed to do (dirt pile, sand donuts, and Fun Haver) but there was lots of water fording. Awesome experience and made us consider paying to go to another locale. Even more tempting now that our 2-door isn't getting built for at least another 8-10 months. So thanks for this content to help my aching heart.
Back when I passed my license, my instructor took me on a snowy parking, told me to turn then to be hard on the brake. He said, now you see what it does and why you should not do that on the road. Then he taught me other things that can happen. As far as I know this was not an 'official' course. It totally should be. Props to all of those who teach people the basics of what can happen. On the road, the trails, the tracks or anywhere, everybody can drive. But how many can react correctly to a certain event?
Thanks a ton on the turn assist feature and your comments! Lock one side and the diff sends all torque 2x to the other side. Can be a great benefit in the dunes but can wreck trails. Sounds like a great driving school for offroad!
I wish some would tell Ford that if the are going to put a “stinger” looking loop in the front, they could at least lean it out so it looks cool. I get that it is probably supposed to be a “grill guard” and or mount point for clamp style off road lights, but it just doesn’t help the look. I learned to drive in a 66 half cab so they have a special place in my heart. Thanks for the video LBN.
I remember my '72 Bronco was perfectly balanced through the front seats. You could get airborne and make a four point landing every time. Loved the 302. Hated the tinny roof. The three on the tree was a little funky too.
I’ve attended Ford performance driving school and found that Ford really do their school right, first class! 🥇 Another fantastic video guys, you are really on a roll! 🍻 🐴🐴🥌
Looks like a bunch of fun. I was a personal trainer and have trained about 1000 clients. Its always really fun to show people new things. It sure would be fun to teach people about Jeeps like you guys are doing. Good job.
This was great. Thanks for showing the non-Badlands trims going through the same obstacles as the Badlands trim. Nice to see how they handle the obstacle without the Sta-bar disconnect.
I absolutely love my H3. But this new bronco seems like what the H3 would’ve become if it would’ve been allowed to evolve. Only vehicle I would give my H3 up for. Hands down.
I agree. Unfortunately, the H3 came out right before the recession and killed it. There’s very little aftermarket support but a welder and sawzall fixed that for me 😁
H3 still had a rear diff lock and a front diff lock was available in 09... They also we're available with 4:56s so if you get a 09 H3 adventure the only thing the bronco has over it is the sway bar disconnect.
Thank you for sharing the note of turn assistant for not tearing up the trails. What a nice idea for the new be and old timers for learning the new technology
Nice video. I've always been and will always be a Jeep guy. I love collecting and restoring them. But I can see how the Bronco can earn a really nice following. I'm not gonna sit here and hate on Fords or Jeeps. I'm just happy the Government hasn't been able to outlaw off-roading yet (they tried in the past). The more the merrier as far as I'm concerned. You two kids keep up the good work.
What I think is awesome is how they are taking the time to teach each person proper use and techniques for things to help in safety and ensuring that those who buy one get to use them for the purpose they were built for. I think Jeep and Toyota could both learn from this type of training facilities all over. While at it teach about staying the trail and preserving what we have left to enjoy. Like the saying I seen one time Take nothing but pictures and leave nothing but footprints.
How KILLER COOL is this! Ford sponsoring a how to do it for new Bronco owner's, hopefully it will make better and safer new and little experienced off road driver's. Thanks for taking us along.
This is really great, the excitement and happiness on her face said it all, another one that is hooked on dirt 😋 Great talk abou saving the trails Kevin, congrats dude 👌
Doesn't make me want to trade my '19 Rubicon JUL, but adds to my admiration of Ford's PR and customer care capabilities, big-time. They definitely know how to treat their buyers, and FIAT/Chrysler/Jeep is WAY behind in this aspect of the customer experience. Great videography and storytelling, as usual.
Honestly this is the first litebright video I've watched in a while. I liked how Kevin and Brit. were just regular ppl, who lived a nomad lifestyle. The channel kept them afloat. Then we find the have a tow vehicle, ultra 4, then buy Brit a crawler and a enormous house. All of this a claim they're not sponsored
@@jamesakemon4115 Hey, James, I think they bought a shop, and it happened to have a house next to it. :) They made space for a great mechanic/friend and a Vietnam vet, and visiting family, and a production office, and storage, etc.The vehicles are production props, and this is a full time job. I couldn't work that hard, or those hours. They're honest about when sponsored, when not. Goes with the gig. It's the American Dream: Bust your butt, and enjoy the fruits of your labors, right?
Honestly, that's brilliant. I wish they did that with all new 4wd sales, it would save so many people getting into trouble, thinking they've bought an unstoppable machine that just needs to be driven like you do on the road.
Can't wait to see what they do on the trails jeeps have been cutting for years. I feel like the course is designed for the bronco to not struggle. Real world trails are going to be the game changer.
I’ve thought about trading my JLU for a 2-door Bronco. The type of wheeling that I do is light trails & sand dunes. The vast majority of my time is on the pavement, so the IFS is going to make daily driving life more enjoyable. Still undecided, but if supply ever makes it worthwhile.
Hands down best coverage I’ve seen of the Bronco Off-Rodeo! I saw other RU-vidrs showing this and invited by Bilstein. I figured It was only a matter of time before we’d see you guys doing one. I was so curious to see what you thought about it with all your experience off road. I’m planning to take the whole family up to the New Hampshire Off-Rodeo around spring next year👍
Wow, this is really awesome. Good to see Ford offering this instruction. I hope you do Vegas and show that video too. Stay safe Lite Brite Nation and take care.
For the goat modes or crawl modes I wonder if it would be better instead of labeling them snow, ruts and sand then rock just have low, medium and high. Snow wheeling is not always the same, it depends on temp, depth and if it has been plowed or rutted out and refrozen. Knowing what it is doing can be more important to me. That ride looks so smooth.
We did the Ford Racing school in Park City in July. It came free with our Ford Explorer ST. It was one of the coolest days ever. Like you,I didn’t really how to do anything new but I did learn what the machine is capable of. Let me tell ya, it’s one bad mofo. Anyone who buys a Ford vehicle that comes with one of these driving experiences and doesn’t do it is a complete fool. I guess the one for the Raptor is AWESOME from what several others in our group told us. Great video!
Ironic timing as my buddy was just talking about this off rodeo this morning. Probably Won’t be getting my bronco till 2023 unfortunately. So I’m going to look at the 392 rubicon this weekend 😁
Loved this video!! As a JL owner im fighting the urge to jump ship lol its great that they do this! Im not going to lie but the Bronco looks like a nice ride
Wow what a experience. It would have been AWESOME if we could FORWARD to Vegas. During my stay in the USA from 2000 till 2005 I also had a full size Bronco and enjoyed every second of it, HOWEVER these NEW BRONCO's are ABSOLUTELY beautiful with so many new features. Jeep AND Grinadier are NO MATCH AT ALL and will CONTINUE eating dust at EVERY TRAIL...🤠
Ha, I love that they try to make the turn assist like something they invented, the Land Cruiser’s have had it forever 🤷♂️. But that being said, the new bronco is pretty rad👌
lol you guys probably should have been teaching people . Congrats on the new Bronco. I have a jeep but I’m also a Ford guy . Love my jeep but I’m pretty sure I’m going to love my Bronco when I get it . I’m excited that we have two off road vehicles made in American that will make each other better ever year
My buddies and I did the Texas Hill Country Overland route a few months ago and we drove by this place as the car hauler truck was there unloading all the broncos. Wasn't aware that this is what they were setting up.
Ok before I watch this....I HOPE you showed up in the Step Child, with all of its 40inch meats and lift, all of its bad ass nature, just to stick it to Ford....and yes I like the Bronco, it just made the industry that much better.....well now that I have watched it the video, looks and sounds like Ford hit it out of the park... perfect thanks
Those two doors look good, but I’m with you, trail turn assist is going to cause some major ruts and potential trail damage in CO. Good on Ford for putting this on, now get the people their Broncos!
What a Cutie! And the girl driving is pretty too...! I really like the 2door proportions; reminds me more of the old Bronco. Ford really had a great marketing scheme back in the beginning with the Mustang, then Maverick, Pinto and Bronco. "..Not a jump..". Kevin says "Watch this! Guy says "25, 25". Kevin rolls up window.."25 my a$$..!" LOL! Still, wondering how all those electronics will hold up over time. LiteBriteNationSaddlesUp!
Yeah, though Jeep dealerships tend to void your entire warranty if they would catch your trail rated Jeep doing anything even half as bad as that course. Its a shame too, hopefully Ford dealerships aren't as awful about using standard features.
At the beginning of the video, I thought the event would be boring or pointless, but then I realized it’s actually pretty cool and that not everyone will understand off the bat what 4wheeling feels like and how it works.
What a great video. I can't wait to see your Bronco when she arrives! You have to go to Vegas and video the course out there. Not sure when they will have a course over on the East Coast. I like how they show you how to get used to your new Bronco and the different features it offers and what to do in certain situations while off reading. Nice droid video also. As always, safe travels to you both . Be well, be blessed 💜❤
Yeah..., in Collegeville, PA with the back creek flooded over along w/ everywhere else! (No tornado Pennypack; how disappointing huh...?) The kids made me smile again today with this Bronco Off Rodeo vid. As always, great good nature of Brit & Kev & off road stuff. Be safe out there...
I'd love to see you guys do Vegas! I'm a local and did the Nevada Bronco Off-Roadeo last Friday and it was a lot of fun. It'd be cool to see your perspective on the differences between Nevada and Texas Off-Roadeos. No high speed course when I did it, mostly tight rocky wash trails typical of the Nevada mountain ranges.
Great video guys! I really dont like the trail turn assist for the exact reason that Kevin notes. I also think the sway bar disconnect under load is a gimmick. The FIRST thing I do when I hit a trail is disconnect the sway bar. There is no reason to leave it connected until you get stuck.
Well, to be fair, Ford has been offering this with the Raptor, GT500, GT350, Focus RS, Boss 302, and so on, even going back to the Cobra R. Not that they aren't following that same playbook of course.
Well done Ford, developing their market, creating a Bronco culture & following. In the UK Land Rover still do the two level training sessions for new vehicle owners & other customers. Which I have attended a few times through work. Great learning opportunities & fun too. In 2019 I attended a Ford Ranger familiarisation training day through the local Ford dealer which pushed the Ranger to their limits and building confidence in driving them off road. Well done Lite Brite in showing this great approach by Ford in introducing the Bronco training and appreciating the new technology. I can see Lite Brite providing training days in the non too distant future. Go Lite Brite!
Too bad Kevin's first suggestion was to turn on the front and rear lockers on a little hill. Learning driving skills and driving techniques are great replacements for a V-8, lockers, and 40s! And, I bet that engineer from Bilstein had a lot more cool stuff to say if he had been given a chance! When you're given a great opportunity to learn sometimes it's better to listen and not talk.
Better to make positive comments and enjoy the videos for what they are, a wonderful experience that kevin and brittany are experiencing and sharing. King of the hammers credentials are real and legit. When your given an opportunity to comment.......why be so negative, just enjoy the ride. My mommy taught me that.....thanks mom.
Hey there - I’ve been to OffRodeo Texas. Camera comes on automatically in 4L and 4H. You can also choose different camera modes to give you front, 180 and 360. It’s pretty sweet with the 12” screen.
great video! i'm trying really hard to get TFL car to take their bronco up Kelly flats against my Jeep. They said yes... now we just gotta schedule it!
This is super cool, I'd love to do that course! Being a noob I'm sure I'd benefit from it. Good on Ford and Bilstien for putting this on. Thanks for the entertaining video Lite Brite🤙🍻
