Note that Jade can also take intangible concepts as a "price" for her services. One of her "customers" on the airship paid with "all her relationships" for her services. Unlike someone's material assets or the hard drive that contains their memories, that isn't something that just anybody can give away. The term "curse" is quite apt. And we didn't see Sunday actually take her up on her deal, did we? Just that she'll give him time to think it over.

I'm pretty sure Topaz said each stoneheart is different and they can do different things, idk if she meant in general in which some can't transform or she meant they all transform differently.

Each stone give them unique skill and combat power Transform is unique skill of aventurine

I feel like Opal's ability is combat-related like Aventurine's. I mean he is quite violent. Might be related to light since in both Aventurine and Jade's stories mention opalescent glows.

Aventurine didn't transform into that form he was already wearing that costume when entering the stage and later on activate his cornerstone so I don't think they can transform in any way if not hoyo would have made a transformation cg
