Thanks for the video. I'm looking at similar machines from the same dealer. I'm curious, are you able to get at the accessory buss bar behind the heater? It looks like it covers up the storage there.
Very cool. I just picked up a new 2021 XT. Added the flip windshield and back panel first, doors are next. I'm looking forward to adding heat. Did you install the heat system yourself?
Just added the soft doors to my defender . Is the passenger side mirror usable with the soft doors?Just from the look of where it mounts it appears to be obstructed by the door material.
Hello, I like your mirrors on the doors and was wondering how they mounted to the doors? and what mirrors they are and if you would have the part number for them. Thanks Jef
@@pyrocrew13 , They are very nice when running on the road, especially if you have the mesh steel rack in back of rear window. A lot better than looking up at rear view mirror.
@@pyrocrew13 , I was talking about running down country road and to see if some one is coming behind me. Backup lights would be nice when backing up in woods I imagine, to see trees behind me ? I wonder how much they cost and how hard to install ? I can not twist around to look out back window :- ( Like normal person can.
Todd Ray I’m on the fence on the soft doors. I like them, but if the hard doors weren’t $3000 I would go with them. I like how easy it is to remove the soft doors and reinstall when needed, but this is my second set. First set was replaced by the dealer. Well, they paid 80% of a new set. If you get soft doors and plan to trailer at all....get the travel cover. I just invested in it. They do their job in the winter though.
I just want them to keep the wind of me and my little guy checking trail cams ... I just get a lot of mixed thoughts on them ... and really haven’t seen any other alternatives ... I really appreciate your videos ... you have bad a$$ buggy
Todd Ray the doors are great for that purpose. I don’t use them all summer. I just put them on around October when it gets colder. Takes a whole 5 minutes and that’s with swapping my mirrors over. My first set was damaged due to trailering. They don’t recommend trailering with them on, but where do you put them? I definitely want them on in snow to keep salt out of the cab area. The travel cover fixes that though and cheap insurance.
Chad BassMaster they hold up great! Hard doors are crazy expensive!! If I had the choice if someone said , “ here.... pick the ones you want for free”. I would go hard.
