Just installed mine on my new 2022 RTL. It took me around 15 minutes and looks factory finished. I set the bars all the way forward, which increased the height to a comfortable position. I look forward to hitting the road in the next day or two to try them out.
Got 2020 RTL knew they had areas needed improvement. Went ahead with new one because have faith in Lamonster, Spyder Pops. Other vendors. Thank you all for making our ryde so much more enjoyable. See you 2021 RYDES. See you then.
Innovative as always. If I was a fan of risers (any risers), I would have saved hundreds of bucks and bought this instead of Helibars. (Not that I don't love the Helibars but they ain't cheap.) Bravo, Lamont!
Do you have riser plates for 2019 spider RT? So glad to see BRP are using standard handle bars finally. I've been thinking of risers for a year now but no one makes them for spyders.
Hey, I saw on your site that you'd developed this to adjust the angle your wife had on an RT. I'm in the midst of custom fitting a '21 RT for my wife - She's 5'2"'. Will your riser, in conjunction with the brake riser and maybe the floorboard riser, allow her to keep the stock seat and maybe touch the back of it when she sits? Thanks and good video!
I have installed this riser on my 2021 RT and am now considering changing bars to the short reach one to relieve the stress on my back. Will the cables reach that came stock? Looks like a big difference in the bars.
Yes they will reach. You may have to cut a couple of zipties to make it work. We now offer a "Max Back" combo that uses short reach bars with our riser.
I have a Daytona Edition with drag bars. I've ordered this power plate fron LG and want to know if the supplied hardware with the power plate will work. Mine already has a riser so mime will ultimately look like this. but this video made me question what I just ordered and what I may need. Seems with the shorter spacer I should be ok? Good video!
On the handled Bar risers . My question is how tall are you? I'm 5' 7 and a 1/2 inches . Trying to get an idea, How close The handlebars will be. With the bracket. Or size of bracket. And you said that you had switch the handlebars themselves to. To bring them a little closer. I ask because I don't want to have my Arms extended completely, On long trips. And when I decide to order I Do it correctly.They Say doesn't cost anything to ask. Last question are They expensive. The risers!
