Moved to the U.K. from the US for uni and recently went to the local spoons to do a research project with a group about anti queer spaces/businesses haha
Or Ludwig had allready seen the video and knew both the places and what Tom was going to say. He is obviously cheating. Thats ok, it still is fun to watch.
@@erikstenviken2652do you genuinely ever think you're going to be happy when you blindly assume the worst out of strangers you've never met? do you???
As an English man it's very funny watching Ludwig learn about the legend Fred Dibnah, a man famous in this country for climbing up tall buildings to make repairs.
"This is the dumbest thing I've ever done, zooming on a city and finding a cathedral as if that's gonna help me where I am IN THE UNITED KINGDOM!" my thoughts exactly while playing this play along lmao
he is clearly cheating lmao in one of his playalongs the video was literally already watched, and in this one he went to the bathroom and "speedrunned" the next round by "reading" text that was blurry AF lmao
Honestly when i found out Tom was from Aldridge it took a few minutes for me to realise that Aldridge is about 7miles from where i live, Lud probably has no clue where Aldridge even is lmao
Me when Lud freaked over Fred Dibnah and I knew EXACTLY what he was talking about from “chimney” because my dad sat me down to watch hundreds of Fred dibnah videos when I was 13 because he’s a national treasure and me and my dad do his Bolton accent as an inside joke all the time
@@JacobVGames Moved up for Uni and honestly prefer it to London by a mile I live in a nice area and I dont have to pay out the arse to exist... May be cheating considering its more like Newcastle-under-Lyme than stoke but close enough 😂
as a Boltonian myself, I do not respect the sarcastic tone u took on when speaking about Fred Dibnah. He is a local icon he has a statue in the town centre. A true hero
as a rugby league fan, tom saying there's no 'clear cut clue' for hull, when the hull fc badge was right there on the back window of the car physically pained me
Just hoping my local spoons in NI shows up. It has like 20 union jack's flying outside and the kerb is painted red white and blue which is a good indicator of it being in NI, since the rest of the UK would never bother with that
Wait till Ludwig learns about the many other British synonyms for getting drunk. Bladdered, hammered, smashed, wankered, trollied, waved, canned, plastered, sloshed, blatted, mashed, to name but a few 🤣
Fred Dibnah is an english legend you should definitely react to him. I'd recommend the one where he collapses a chinney stack with just wooden supports, fire, n a big crowd watching.
@@jamesdavideastwood6956 funnily enough although that seemed like 5head logic it was actually incorrect because the UK also has those EU style number plates on about half the cars. So it wouldn't point towards a ferry link
As a student I love a good ol spoons. When all your friend circle is already in their overdraft, it's that or buying alcohol from a supermarket. (Honestly though, quick trip to Tesco, pick up a nights worth of booze, chill with the broskis and you'll have a better time for even less money)
I love watching these. The difference between Ludwig’s seething hatred at Geowizard for knowing what he’s talking about and intense, one-sided rivalry because of it, and Geowizard’s rambling about stuff that is often not useful is just the perfect pairing.
I’m actually surprised it’s taken this long for Lud to find out about Fred Dibnah. I assumed he’d already heard about him, he’s to us Brits what Elvis or Micheal Jackson is to Americans.
The weirdest thing happened to me. I saw this video yesterday, shortly before i flew to spain. There were no direct flights, so i had to stop off in england for a few hours, and I visit Cambridge on a whim to kill time, and then by chance I happen to walk by the cinema wetherspoon featured in the video. Fuckin weirdest coincidence.
I knew straight away that one of the weatherspoons was Cambridge. Evidence: •Stage coach gold park and ride (Very common) •Red phone both (common) •Classy expensive looking buildings (typical) •Cathedral spire (You will always see in Cambridge)
I actually work for a Wetherspoons Lud, the buildings are bought by the company and are refurbed, infact, old unused buildings that are interesting can actually be referred to be bought via the app to receive rewards. I'm so glad to work for the man Tim Martin. Big up the North :)
Yeah I thought it was funny seeing chat say “oh my god it’s in a castle” or him saying they all look like court buildings My local Wetherspoons is in an old theatre and all the gold embellishments and red carpet and shit is in there It’s cool as fuck Also always full Solid good vibes
