Maybe we should give him the Godrick treatment and make him start at phase 2 if it is possible Removes his 16 second phase transition and his almost guaranteed swords of light follow up, which gets him killed or poisebroken before it goes off because of the transition. He has alot of dps and mobility, just not in phase 1

Morgott's whole fight would be fixed if he KEPT THE DAMAGE RESISTANCE FROM HIS PHASE TRANSITION. I'm not sure what the percentage is, but it's at least 50% higher than the rest of the fight. That and maybe a bit more damage.

Ya morgott lore wise should be among the strongest gameplay wise he is somewhere in the middle

Yeah, they're also the only ones (along maybe with Patches) who are unavailable if you fight Radahn before the festival begins (by jumping to his arena through Church of Plague and then activating the stake of Marika).

In another channel's Farum Azula video similar to this one, she got bullied by a crucible knight and had to pull out phase 2 to beat him

Many mobs can do quite well against her so long as they pressure her. I think it's why From gave her massive lifesteal and a few moves with unlimited poise who also refresh her passive poise once she's done performing them. They tailored a boss in a balanced way with an exploitable weakness like every other, but then thought ''Nah we need to break her'' and added a few nonsense moves. It's not a theory either. Waterfowl Dance and the clone attacks were literally not even a thing on Elden Ring's 1.0 version. Her lifesteal was also extremely limited and minimal. They just added those real fast post launch on the day 1 update. It's a shame. She's a much more balanced boss without them. She's a ton of fun to fight on 1.0.

@@TheStraightestWhitest They took a boss that was perfectly in line with their style of "hard but fair" and turned her into "harder because it's not fair". The lifesteal especially is such bs. If it was just successful hits, fine. Whatever. Still annoying but at least it has an in-universe explanation, albeit a very weak one. Healing by hitting shields and inanimate objects? That's uncharacteristically lazy for From. It's like they hyped her up too much with the whole Radahn thing and then realized that realistically, a roughly human sized boss would need unbelievable cheat codes to stand against Radahn in a real fight, and then hastily added said cheat codes to make it seem possible.

Crucible knights are stance breaking monsters, and Malenia, for all of her power, has like….negative poise lmfaooo

Redmane is undermanned, but it's already been tested; they're the strongest per knight. Haligtree follows, then Leyndell. Of course if the Haligtree includes that nest of Royal Revenants, nobody can beat them, LMAO!

Yeah, Morgott (and his Margit selves) were clearly the bosses with the most clear intent to be specifically annoying to the player. Margit with the delayed attacks and Morgott with Diddy Kong stuff + endless combos.

When morgot fight players it would make sense to delay his attacks because landing 1 attack takes a huge chunk of hp away from the player and he can afford to take some hits during wind up. Same strategy doesn’t work on other bosses however.

@@BrownHairL I mean, it's oddly lore-accurate for Morgott to have focused so much on fighting Tarnished to prevent them from getting to the Erdtree, that he left himself completely open to other potential attackers.

The "scripted" moves a lot of bosses have work great for PvE but really screw things up when it's a DPS race. Especially with some bosses like Radahn and Morgott they can end up stuck pretty much the entire battle

@@theawickward2255 I get what you mean, but we see him taking down Radahn in the intro cinematic, so I doubt he's weak even against powerful foes like the other demi-gods.

Godfrey spammed his stomp like crazy though. That stomp has insane range and can knock down enemies, then do more damage while enemies are on the ground.

​​@@zoro9834 The healing is absolute bullshit. The damage her rot does is also bullshit. Scarlet rot is supposed to be slow degradation, while malenia's scarlet rot always takes the whole healthbar quickly, and would take two more healthbars before the duration runs out. And 33k hp is too much for a boss the small, who can also dodge attacks and is that fast. And her damage is the highest compared to her speed. And the biggest proof of her being unbalanced is that she is pretty much guaranteed to win in all these vids, and if she loses, all other bosses lose. They should have removed the healing(absolutely unnecessary mechanic). They also should have reduced her health to like between 23-26k hp(Godfrey has 21k and elden beast has 26k despitr its size). And finally hee scarlet rot damage should have been like the one we inflict with scarlet aeonia, maybe a little higher.

So then if you know nothing can ever do enough damage because it can just heal infinite health then???? Literally what is the point just skip to the next one? You can give the weakest enemy in the game or any other character max defense and infinite healing and any of them would automatically win its essentially just giving them invincibility it completely defeats the purpose, so what? Like thats why they dont just make bosses with infinite health or first person shooters with unlimited ammo or capture the flag game modes with flags that take infinity seconds to capture like theres completely no point
