Tail swipe gives you plenty of time to react. The 'instant grab' is literally an uncharged "Aspects of the Crucible: Horns", if you can't dodge that at least semi-consistantly well... 'Instant spear pokes' lol, not even gonna entertain that one. They only heal punish if you neglect to make distance first, in which case you're asking to die anyway, should be common Elden Ring knowledge at this point. Apologies if this comes across harsh but I assure you Crucible Knights are the GOLD STANDARD when it comes to one-on-one heavily armored knight battles in gaming, so respectfully, back off my boy ✋️

@@peterk.2108 No Crucible trio could come out on top, I mean overall it's the best matching imo, since both Crucible Knights and Hornsent Warriors have similar origins and powers/builts. Both are very tanky, deal a lot of poise damage and wield primordial crucible powers. Difference is Crucible Knights are more "modern", while Hornsent Warriors are older and are more "divine". Hornsent Warriors have status damage, while Crucible Knights are not very succeptibe to status and have high defenses. Overall, I think this fight would be dope and very "cinematic"

And Mesmer had an entire army purging their kind, not just himself, not to mention the fact that every Elden Ring boss is clearly a shadow of their former selves, which is why we can kill them.

I think the main issue is that Ancient Dragon enemies have 600 poise and it resets too fast, meaning they have technically infinite poise and can't be stance broken. It makes a huge difference in Elden Ring, where stance bar is the core mechanics of the game. Bayle gets stance broken repeatedly because he has low poise, 120, which is around Fire Giant and Elden Beast, but Bayle is designed heavily around close encounters unlike Elden Beast and Fire Giant who get less stance broken because they move around a lot. Another example why it's unfair to use enemy who's immune to stance breaks is that one example where RU-vidr posted Black Knight vs Crucible Knight duel, Black Knight kept stance breaking Crucible Knight every 3 seconds, despite in game Crucible Knights having a lot of poise and one of the most tanky enemies, they also deal a lot of poise damage to other enemies, just like their leader - Godfrey. Overall, putting DS3 against Elden Ring enemies was always silly because DS3 enemies don't follow the same game mechanics, where they have infinite poise. Same thing with Ancient Dragons, they're broken and unfair against other enemies and also fighting them in game is not that enjoyable, because they're the only enemy in the game who don't follow that rule

@@esincorporated6123 I believe the main issue was turning them into a boss in the first place, imo they're really good as world enemies, namely how they are in Farum Azula. But as a boss, namely Lanseax and Senseax, they don't offer anything new, no new moves or anything. They don't even drop anything that unique either, but still the main thing that boggles me is their infinite poise. Like I can outtrade a freaking most based OP Chads who are Placidusax and Bayle, while using my Guts Greatsword, but why can't I do that to regular ahh ancient dragon? It's just goofy that some random Ancient Dragons are more powerful than most gods and demigods in the game, and not because of some unique moveset or abilities, but simply because mechanically they break core mechanics of the game.

after elden ring, ds3 bosses were already very mediocre, with the dlc, ds3 bosses are basically normal elden ring enemies with huge health bars XD

Well, they are flashier. But this is a given since the Game IS more recent. Was the Same with ds3 dlc and basegame (gael, midir). But in regards to balance i like ds3 way more. From the way the Bosses move in relation to their Charactermodel and common sense. Regarding difficulty in dlc I dont know why you have to scale the enemys Higher If you negate it with an Item (Fragments). There are already the tedious fetchquests in the basegame to get all flasks etc. now you have to collect the next random items to Not get 1 or 2 shot by every enemy even with 60+ vigor. Might be a Skill issue on my part, but i think there are better options to make a difficulty game without being annoyingly repetitive even after the first playthrough.

@@flamingmanure I played DS3 after Elden Ring, and the bosses in that game were really fun to fight, not mediocre at all.

@@jcrossjg3 You would need a perfectly set up Mimic Tear and time to cast him. Then you'd have to use cheese weapons or level 400+ tactics. (99 end, heavy armor, fingerprint, giant-crusher/cragblade) Even then it'd really be challenging but the way to win would be you get a 1v1 while mimic gets double teamed. Then you take care of yours quickly before mimic dies and you have a chance. This can only really be done with heavy armor and high stats so Mimic survives.

Huh, I have to try that! I was just using Stamp: Upward Cut on colossal swords and hammers. I have several good Holy weapons fully upgraded.

I guess an addendum to the original comment: While divine/bird/horned warriors take extra damage from holy it still doesn't necessarily make them easier... Their combos are still pretty relentless and brutal. Ranged holy damage is the most helpful, like the new "multi-layered rings of light" for super long range or "great golden arc" for rapid spam-ability. These spells chunk them pretty good. Happy hunting, hope any of this was also helpful.

The reason for them being weak to Holy damage is because Holy damage derives from the Erdtree whereas their version of divine is different.

@@adambielen8996 That does make some sense. "Divine" and "Holy" are not the same thing generally even in certain religious contexts. From an in-game standpoint though they tend to use Divine and Holy interchangeably. I can understand why some people would find it a little confusing.
