why was rennala continous losing health after the red spell thing @4:15? Also, fallingstar vs all bosses. No protection for black blade users. Charge must work properly.
Bro astel was too good. He beat two summons and could 3, and almost renala. It was so unfair, only if he focused a bit more to her rather than the summons..
Well Bjorn cheated, the dragon is only to use its breath once and vanish after, not linger around, he also cheated because even bosses follow the same summoning rules we do, only one at a lime unless its type of summon that summons a group.
@@xanthiusdrake2775 uhh the dragon doesn't disappear after one breath, and there are instances in the regular fight where she summons two summons. He's trying to best recreate how powerful Rennala was in her prime. But sure, chalk it up to cheating.
@@xanthiusdrake2775 No, I've had plenty of runs where the dragon stayed long beyond its initial breath and stomp attacks, as well as numerous summons. Bro didn't "cheat."
Malenia is so patient and passive in her first stage, she couldn't handle the dragon's long range movements. She was so close to killing it too, there were so many times she just stood there staring at it lol.
yeaah and its like, if she'd be as aggressive as Rot stage, she'd win a lot more of her fights, i mean she already wins a lot of fights though but no, i understand you completely. kinda whack seeing her L because she just stands there xD
The reason she just stared is because she and all other bosses are designed to fight tarnished not dragons so her ai thinks the dragon foot is the tarnished hence why she's so passive with the ACTUAL dragon
Yeah. It was kind of odd that she does nothing most of the time while her summons were out though it did her her since they also took all the aggro. The few times she attacked while the summons were out she did extremely well.
Dayum Hoarah was having none of that courtesy left after Rennala actually bested him in his suppressed state. “Enough of this kingly folly! A crown is warranted with strength…”
@@bloody4558 he means lore wise and stats wise. He may be easy to read, doesn’t change the fact he’ll rock your sh*t if you get hit even once which usually will lead into a combo.
Laser golem literally dancing on Gideon's grave, this was awesome. Prime Rennala was able to go blow for blow with Radegon and the golden order, so her being so powerful is lore friendly
This bitch is the head of a royal family and took over an entire academy dedicated to magic. I'd kill to fight rennala before radagon broke her. All we get is rannis goddamn imitation
Ehh we don't know if she could actually hang with Radagon, not to mention Radagon got far more powerful than that afterwards, but yeah she was powerful. The way I always viewed it was that Rennala at her best would be a similar power up to Godfrey compared to his shade, since both are projections from a Demigod.
Fire Giant beating the troll knight to the ground and then elbow-dropping him to death was beautiful! Edit: Also, if we're really looking to make her OP, just let her AI continue to go all-out while the summons are present.
Dude, the choice of summons that you implemented here with the Carian Troll, Red Wolf of Radagon, Adula, & Laser Golem _PERFECTLY_ fit with the theme - but they also made for some *_unbelievably_* close and unexpected outcomes. The way that you set this up and how you capture these fights in following and framing the action really _always_ makes your content worth returning to. Keep up the amazing work, dude!!
Dragon: Flies away from Malenia, Blade of Miquella Malenia, Blade of Miquella: Sprouts wings and flies after dragon Dragon: Screams of anguish Rennala: Gets choked slammed out of her moon
Melenia's slow calculating style of combat really came back to bite her this time around. Walked into every attack and barely even fought back against the dragon.
"I am Malenia, Blade of Miquella, and I have never seen a dragon." Oh man, the 'Oh shit' vibes coming from Rennala when it didn't work on Malenia's second phase was gold
Rennal shutting down Godskin Noble’s roll was one of my favorite parts Malenia: so when do I get to hit you? Dragon: that’s the neat part. You don’t Ok so in conclusion. Prime Rennala is pretty cracked given she beat phase 1 Malenia and tied with Malaketh.
This isn't prime Rennala. Rennala would never be capable of beating Godfrey, any of the Demigods besides Godrick, Placidusax, Stars of Darkness, or tying with Maliketh.
@@tnntaronewsnetwork4514 Nothing said she was equal to Radagon, just that him and his boys couldn't conquer Liurnia/Caria. That makes sense considering Caria had the home field advantage. Just try and approach the Carian Manor. Those bolts coming out of the sky. Imagine having to march an army through shit like that, mages on every corner of the castle firing at you. Furthermore, Radagon wasn't nearly at his strongest yet there, being a mere nobody compared to the God he'd become. In fact, Miriel specifically questions why Radagon would ever be called to Marika's side, implying he was unworthy. And Marika (through Melina) has dialogue where she speaks to Radagon, saying ''O Radagon, leal hound of the Golden Order. Thou'rt yet to become me. Thou'rt yet to become a god.'' So being capable of fighting the lowest, weakest version of Radagon in his total infancy back before he became a Golden Order Elden Chad and mastered both its incantations and the Carian sorceries, isn't saying much and doesn't really scale her anywhere, especially since she didn't even win as in Miriel's words: ''He soon repented his territorial aggressions though, and became husband to the Carian Queen.'' This makes it sound like it wasn't a very long attempt. Know the thing about sieges? They can take years. Nothing implies Radagon couldn't have won, just that he changed his mind and decided to clap Rennala 1v1 in an altogether different manner.
@@Aryan_H1 Placidusax is definitely the most powerful of the bosses overall. The only one in their prime that could be more powerful is The Elden Beast. Also to anyone thinking that Hoarah Loux fought Placidusax. I believe he fought The Stormhawk King. Placidusax never left his realm after his god fled and awaited it's return. To be honest a fight between the two. Would really depend on how much of an impact Destined Death has on Placidusax. Because a prime Maliketh is definitely fast enough dodge at least most of Placidusax attacks. It would also depend on if prime Placidusax could use time control in battle and if Maliketh could resist it. As fast as Maliketh is. He can't dodge if he's frozen in time.
Godfrey should have the most raw strength then, but I see Malenia winning for the sheer fact that it's both strength and speed, skill and powers. (no Elden Beast ofc)
@@mee091000 Destined Death definitely works on Placidusax. Nothing except maybe the Elden Beast, and that's a big maybe, beats prime Maliketh with Destined Death.
If anything, this video fully establishes why Malenia is so damned scary. Blade: She annihilated the troll and wolf in seconds, turns towards rennala in time to see her summon a dragon and jukes her way past both its initial attacks to start attacking it up close in its blind spot. Goddess: We all know the Goddess is terrifyingly OP, but I think we can also all agree that watching her charge towards Rennala at the end, effortlessly weaving around her laser at the same time was straight out of an anime 38:15 and appropriately badass.
11:28 The magic orbs bounced off the Fire Giant. Is that supposed to happen? Also the end of the Fire Giant 2nd fight almost gave me a heart attack. Goddamn
Radagon and rennala was my favorite and in my opinion is was the best, with rennala pulling all the stops and the music getting louder and more intense/majestic. To me I could see this being rennala breaking out of her state and putting her beloved husband to rest. Seeing him in such a broken state with barely any trace of the man he was before makers her heart ache even more. Also bringing his dog into the fight was also even sadder and more fitting.
@@jaredgreathouse3672 while I agree that the golem was overkill, the crow or avatar has no relation to her original summons Dragon = Adula Wolves = Red Wolf Giant = Carian Knight Knight = ?? personally, I think Moongrum would be fitting here. or perhaps even Blaidd since that's Ranni's version of the bloodhound knight
I’d like to see the fire giant vs a Zamor army. Start with low numbers of Zamor and keep ramping it up to see how many it would take to take down a single fire giant.
The fact Rennala was already a very potent Zoner, even against some late game or even end game bosses, was bad enough, but increasing her stats and giving her new and outright superior summons makes her even more of a threat
If you give her summons that defeat most bosses in the game solo, the outcome isn’t anything crazy. She’s basically just there to support the Guardian Golem and Adula, lmao.
The summons were too much in my opinion. Godfrey and Maliketh especially were literally just fighting those things for 95% of their battles, and they didn't even despawn on Rennala's death, causing Maliketh to tie with her instead of winning. That definitely goes well beyond prime Rennala's ability. Her own stats were pretty accurate I'd say, but the summons were absurd.
Did you increase the summon's stats too? Because there's no universe Malenia would hit that much against an enemy 3 times weaker (Health/Damage wise) and it wouldn't die. Also, that Malenia v Adula fights shows us why the summons have a time limit in the base the game. Imagine if she stacked all 4 against a player. Edit: Bitch really made Radagon kill his own doggo. Fucking monster. Edit 2: Jesus fuck, Hoarah Loux was FUCKING angry.
I am happy to see lady Rennala as the winner in most of the battle. Only, against the prime version bosses she lose... and the Elden Beast which may won against her summon... That was the wife of Radagon.
Wow. That was so good. What she had going for her was those powerful spells coming in so rapidly including the summons (also being able to swerve away a decent distance) and of course when Golem is able to execute those laser beams it was pretty much game over. Nice battles right there. The first Malenia one had me on the edge of my seat.
Laser Golem is a busted summon, but the Dragon definitely proved it's worth against Malenia that was impressive af. Hoarah Loux being aggressive af This was a really cool video. Honestly I'd recommend this summon pool for any vid Rennala is in minus the Laser Golem that boi is prime only.
okay i'm usually anti-malenia like the next guy but I was so pissed after she got completely HOED in the phase 1 fight due to the dragon's RNG. It felt cathartic to see her phase 2 demolish against rennala and all 3 of the summons. Thank you for another great video
I never realised radagons spell parry is him sucking the element into the Elden Ring then retaliating with holy magic I wish we could get a fist weapon with radagons parry
Dragon played Malenia like a fiddle, perfect strategy. Elden Beast threw so many ranged sword swings in this one, he barely ever does that and it would let him win most fights he loses.
Malenia vs everything but that dragon: Thanks for the free health. Malenia vs that dragon: Seems to have forgotten how to attack, dodge, even run. Rennala vs Radagon: THIS IS FOR NEVER PAYING RANNI'S CHILD SUPPORT!
Isn't the entire point of the second phase of Rennala's fight that it's an illusion that represents her at her strongest already but technically it is already primal Rannala.
I think Rennala's biggest handicap is that most of her actions are quite slow. If she was quicker, I think she would even have a chance against Rot-Malenia in Melania's arena, because she does try to keep her distance and do damage from afar. Oh, and she needs to not stand by while her summons fight, but use it as an opportunity to get some shots in. (Of course, her slow speed and her passivity during summons are there to help the player, since she appears rather early in the game.)
I would love to see an animated version of rennala and raddagon fighting when they first met. Based on how its worded in the game it seems like it was a stalemate or raddagon lost which is crazy since he is marika and marika is a god but rannala is just a human.
Malenia had it right initially that she needed to eliminate Rennala as soon as possible but then she just went 'oooo a dragon!' and fucked around with it for the rest of the match. She absolutely despises range, lacking her second phase absolutely crippled her. But it also seemed like she forgot how to use her iconic Waterfowl which would've shredded Adula to pieces.
Funny thing is; the Rennala we fight *IS* prime Rennala. Did y’all not pay attention to anything in the game at all? Ranni set up a protection spell that would bring forth prime Rennala if the real one was in danger.
If it was in her ai to attack when her summons are out, she probably would've won all of these interactions except Horah Loux as he literally didn't give her a chance to do anything. I think she probably would've won against Goddess Of Rot Malenia as well.
Bro I came to watch full power Renalla not to see how many mini bosses in a row the main story bosses could defeat💀 (In all seriousness though, that Horah Loux fight was AMAZING)
This is how strong Rennala should've been in the game. However we find her completely mad and with little will to live, so we're lucky and can end her misery
