In this elden ring video I'm testing whether any of the strongest bosses in elden ring can survive the crucible knights trio.
To test this I used Ordovis and Siluria and added crucible betrayer skarde from the convergence mod for good measure. I also nerfed Skarde to 10k hp since the convergence mod upscales all other bosses while I'm testing them on vanilla scaling.

Damn I forget sometimes how insane Fire Giant's damage output is in phase 2. The trio literally destroyed his phase 1 so fast he didn't even have a chance to do any damage, yet he still nearly won

Placidusax used his most flashy move (arguably the most flashy move in the whole vanilla game) to give the killing blow... that's not RNG because godlike demonstrations of power like that can't be suppressed by a stupid number generator in a CPU

One of the cases where the qualities that make them annoying for players also work well against bosses - the huge poise, high movement speed, very aggressive AI that just doesn't take a break. Was pretty cool how often they were dodging the Elden Beast sword beams with their wing attacks. Losing to Rot Malenia is expected but I was surprised by how effective Maliketh was considering how much of a glass cannon he can be in these. I guess it helped that he did the aerial sword beams very early so got to inflict a lot of damage without taking any back.

Love the Crucible Knights! You should also use the new Crucible Knight Cambria that is also coming out with the Garden of eyes mod. Side note its a real shame that Siluria's Grab doesn't work like Godfrey's does. I think in some fights it really would of helped a lot if the grab actually worked.

Even if he lost I'm glad you tried mohg phase 2 vs the trio Most of the time (always) we can't see mohg fighting because: - he is stunlocked and doing his ritual, and dies before entering phase 2 - he NIHILS his opponent and insta kills him What about phase 2 mohg vs all bosses?

he lost due to bad luck, he didn't fly in the entire fight (when it is something he does very frequently) and his aggro activated when they attacked him

It's amazing how much work this trio's shields do. Glowy Shield boy seemed to make a huge difference, charging in like a lunatic and tanking those first big attacks.

I figured only the heavy DOT bosses would be a issue. I was 50/50 with the dragon lord on being stomped or being the stomper. I really do enjoy the Crucible knights. They really get work done lol

A slightly easy way for fromsoft to learn it one of their bosses are broken is to put them in a gank fight, and if the boss alone wins (primarily because of *one* gimmick) perhaps the fight isn’t all that fair. Examples being Malenia & Maliketh, but even maliketh only has 1/2 health so it kinda balances. Malenia is deadass just a sekiro boss they dropped into Elden ring without changing how she would fight. I maintain that she is likely a scrapped Tomoe fight that they didn’t find space for in sekiro but didn’t want to waste, slap a reskin on there with a couple new moves and BAM. Lady Tomoe travels to the Lands Between

When Starscorge opens with his rain of arrows travelling down the path why don't the approaching combatants dodge the rain of arrows instead of running directly into them? Surely they must see the arrows coming down?
