I've never even played this. The last console I bought was a fucking Wii, but I watch these anyway and Placidusax is by FAR my favorite encounter. Love that the ruin beam actually landed here.
Placid has 3 phases, he usually starts winning around the 2nd phase when he teleports around and seals the deal on 3rd phase since the laser just melts health bars
seeing maliketh effortlessly jump over the apostles blender blade move made me so happy. he’s my favorite character in the game, and seeing him pull a victory even in the most precarious of situations is always amazing to watch.
Can you pair up the strongest versions of Blaidd and Alexander to see how they fair against other bosses? Reason being is those two are probably the most unique allies in the game.
My boy Placi got 'em! And Maliketh too! Looks like Death is in good hands. One thing I notice from watching a lot of these matchups, is that oftentimes victory or defeat is decided by the AI deciding to not pick the one move that's super useful against other bosses. Fire Giant wouldn't have had such a hard time if he just vomited fire on them continuously the way he does when I fight him!
I second this idea. And it can be done in two ways, for content: first video, you do the Godricks one by one. One dies, another comes in. Until the boss is dead. Second video, you optimize. You go from the highest number each boss required, and cut one. See if they still do it. If they do, cut another and repeat the boss. Until you get to minimum viable Godricks (henceforth known a MVG) to kill every boss in the game. FOR SCIENCE.
Considering Tree sentinel is about the same strenght as Godrick... and that it was not possible to have enough to kill Malenia withoit crashing the game... I think he wouldn't even be able to kill her
@@PlatinumO I saw someone test that (might have even been Bjorn himself), but even like 46 Godricks starting at full health in Phase 2 with functional grabs couldnt beat Malenia. her healing is just too strong. the more Godricks you toss in, the more she heals when she inevitably waterfowls.
it is even weirder when you know that he is the father of the strongest demigod (including Godfrey) you can't tell if he is a truly a father to Radahn or not dude looks much younger than him though he is much older
@@ThefrenziedMercury He was larger pre-shattering, but he might’ve became even bigger post shattering thanks to the shard he has. Both Godrick and Rykard seemed to had increased in size when they had their shards, and shrunk after. If that’s what you mean. Other then that the rot has been making Radahn decay both physically(slowly)and mentally
Even though he lost I still appreciate how Gideon effortlessly dodged their fireballs at the beginning, if only he would dodge when they were in his face. I also think you should do two rounds with Gideon in these videos, one with his base sell list and one with the boss spells since his moveset and damage options change.
You putting personality to the duo and mentioning the rounds being carried just made me see them as Nacho and Esqueleto from Nacho Libre and nacho being told they always lose because he is fat. This was a really entertaining matchup!
@@paweuszcz4856 true, Radahn gets done dirty in these. If you go by straight gameplay in the long Run Malenia won that fight cause Radahns a shell of what they say he used to be.
The fights where he's either fighting more weaker enemies or where he can poise break enemies usually go a lot better, and he always makes it look stylish af
This makes me want a battle royale between all the death factions. The Godskins led by the spiritcaller snail. Black blade kindred led by Maliketh. Black knives led my Alecto. And Death Birds led by...well a deathbird. Who is the true wielder of destined death?
the scariest thing is that the blackflame the godskins wield is actually in his weakest state in the lore, think how terrifyingly powerfull it was when the gloam-eyed queen was still alive, no wonder marika was so scared of her that she sent maliketh to destroy her and seal her powers
I believe the most powerful version would be a little stronger than Malikeths Black Flame, since in essence they were the same thing, but obviously Maliketh lost a little bit of the Rune of Death after the black knife plot, but if the Godskins could use the actual DD black flame, they would be absolutely horrifying.
@@Nhillus47 they are sort of the same flame, black flame WAS stronger but then maliketh sealed it with the death rune or whatever and used the rune to empower the flame to make it red, so yes in the game malikeths red flames are stronger but before that the black flame was stronger
It seems like Apostle is way more dangerous than Noble. Snorlax hurts when he hits with the big swings, but only got a couple big hits off, while Skinny Malone hits consistently and for a lot. And if he uses the spin to win, it's over
The Godskin Duo destroy phase one Malenia only to die at her feet before phase two even starts. Such a shame. Also the way you handled the Maliketh fight was awesome
I love these two so much even if their fight is cancer. Ornstein and Smough were cool, but these have the added fear factor with their lore. They're pretty cool and its nice to see them holding up their titles
the godskins vs the golem was genuinely incredible. loved when the apostle did the black flame tornado whilst the golem unleashed his flame vent. What a matchup, super close too!
Now Godrick truly needs a revenge video, my boy needs something more than being shit on by quite literally everyone. The game fans, the writers, the lore fans, the RU-vidrs, even Gastoc gets his chance. I need to see Godrick get the revenge he deserves and kill every boss (even his puny former self that brought him such shame)
Elden Beast’s defeat perfectly illustrates how I usually die when fighting godskins: pretty good at the start, but once the donut-roll attacks starts… it’s joever…
There's a couple fights there that I think they lost only because they weren't programmed with the ability they normally have to bring a dead partner back to life. It'd be nice to see these fights again with that ability, provided they're also programmed with the health pool so that it's not an endless string of resurrections.
Nothing like laying in your bedroom with your phone hooked up to your Bluetooth speaker to hear Maliketh's voice just blast out of nowhere. Damn near gave me a heart attack.
Placidusaxx - "You thought I was over thereeee" Malenia - "You may strike down me in this form.. But I'm just getting started" Mohg - "NIHIL, NIHIL.. NIHILLLLL!!!" Maliketh - "You thought you could escape death...?" Godfrey - You thought I was done..? Nah son"
They're actually well-balanced. Won all fights before Azula (except Fire Giant), then lost all fights after Azula (except Gideon), and killed god - their original mission
When Astel’s strongest attack does 700 or less damage per hit and their weakest attacks do double? What did you think was gonna be the outcome, man this is absurd…
@@kaiserdetectivegolden2735 nothing in the game deals 15k damage unless it's in succession, like comet azur. Enemies do like 3000 at most, which oneshots even 99 vigor
@@Celatra it does succession damage tho. For the same the beam from the golem and the beam from the fully grown falling star beast do so much damage to other bosses as well. Most enemies don’t have s after getting hit so they get hit multiple times.
I only realized now that all 4 main bosses of farum azula have the power to kill immortals: placi's scale, maliketh's destined death, and godskin duo's black flame
If I understand Mogh mechanics correctly every time there's a bleed proc in his arena he gets an aura like effect of lord of bloods exaltation talisman effect I don't know if it's stacks for him, having 2 potential bleed procs would boost his damage hard.
