It's funny how the two complement each other so well. Gideon's moves have a lot of dps, but most of them deal poor posture damage. Rennala deals a hell of a lot of posture damage, but has poor dps due to her being an early game boss.

The 2 most passive bosses actually worked quite well together, only the strongest bosses managed to beat them

Ok but honestly, they make a ridiculously good team. Like, they killed Maliketh, and Rennala finally got the catharsis of beating up her ex husband

8:17 Rennala using her full moon next to Gideon using his scarlet aeonia is such a cool visual. One of the most beautiful moments

Obviously Gideon tanked the Aoenia for her with his final breaths but I'm genuinely impressed at how well Rennala fared against Phase 2 Malenia. Like she played that SMART.

So Gideon only needed a partner to become a monster spell spammer. I guess in the end he really needed HELP!

Honestly the Gideon Rennala duo have a surprising amount of synergy. Gideon has his flask and more tanky so he can draw fire whilst Rennala spams and poise breaks from a distance. They absolutely dismantled the likes of the Godskin duo who have no real synergy. They’re the rare duo to actually take down Maliketh even with Gideons blunder, and they actually pressure Melania, partially due to Rennala’s smart use of her full moon technique to get out of the way of damage. Hell during the Rykard fight Rennala had a sliver of HP so Gideon taking the heat actually saved the day

So are we not talking about how funny that whole Radagon fight was? Rennala just shows up with her new boyfriend to beat the shit out of her ex-husband. That shit about killed me

Just a few things: That Maliketh fight was one of the closest fights I’ve seen in a while (And at 15:38 Gideon knows the proper spacing for that vertical spin to flurry, which is impressive). Rennala’s immunity during the moon cast nearly outlasting the entirety of Waterfowl Dance is an interesting discovery and the way she did the cast at around the same time as when Malenia is preparing her Waterfowl is stylish of the Moon Queen (21:02) Hoarah Loux finishing the fight with two grabs in a row made my day, especially during that last grab where Gideon realized he was out of heals and proceeded to get slammed to death through his opponent’s sheer strength (17:49)

Honestly pretty slick of Gideon to hug Rykard's side and spam Scarlet Aoenia while Rennala kept landing the full moon for that extra debuff GOD DAMN they rooted Mohg to one spot, the disrespect was crazy, and then they beat Maliketh!? Nah this is too much...but then Godfrey just STR builds through them lmao

I love how Fire Giant absolutely played to his advantages over them throughout his combat: his own ranged attacks used often, closing the gap soon after the beginning, using his prodigious reach once Rennala was down. Excellent stuff overall

I can't believe Gideon just walked off like that. What a jerk. But I was glad to see Rennala come out with the win anyway.

This is a reminder of how strong Rennala really is. Like in lore if it weren't for her mind basically being broken, she would easily be the front runner in becoming Elden Lord. Same for Radahn

Gideon really gets a chance to show off how deadly he is when he gets more opportunities to attack. Helps that him and Rennala have incredible synergy Genuinely impressed with how well Gideon did against Godfrey, he did more damage after Rennala died lmao

Even in the fights they lost, they did pretty well. Rennala took out half of phase 2 Malenia's health!

Something about Godfrey immediatly annihalating Rennala only to change Phase just to tear Gideon a new one with his bare hands is intensely... cathartic. So much pent up mage gank frustration just dissolved into thin air.

I appreciate this video because as a Rennala stan, this shows that’s she can hold her own. She gives new meaning to Slay, Queen.

To this day I consider Comet Azure the coolest looking attack in this game. I know its just PHAT beam but visually it looks so beautiful and looks like it can literaly disintegrate whatever it touches. Not to mention the fact it has such a long and dramatic build up before blasting gives it a feeling of a bigger impact than most other attacks that *actually* do more damage

Great video, while Gideon did indeed serve his purpose as tank, Renalla was doing real work doing what seems like most of the damage and landing most of the killing blows for her team. It would be great to see Renalla and Radagon team up to take on all the Demigods.

They did pretty well against Melenia all things considered, well timed Moon Orb attacks too. Gidi just needed to dodge more and keep using that one sword spell.

Their biggest enemy wasn't the Fire Giant, it was the terrain.

At 1:33 where they're both charging up the same spell (even if Gideon missed) and at 7:36 where both of them are charging it while Astel charges his space magic sniper shot are the most anime moments I've ever seen out of Elden Ring

In all of these videos I always find myself rooting for the Fire Giant. Maybe because he is such a tragic figure and he just wants to be left alone with his grief and duty up on the mountain. Even the way he fights seem sad. I´m glad he won this one.

I genuinely enjoy these vids. The best thing about them is that we dont know the outcome of these battles. Thanks for the upload 👍

I'm a little confused why you didn't just give Gideon the spell list he has when the player fights him. That Law of Causality spell lays a spanking, and potentially could've turned the tide of several of those fights.
