I instantly got the Chopper one because I’m pretty sure the only time they’ve seen real dinosaurs was at Little Garden before he was introduced.

Monitor's second one had a very obvious tell that immediately clued me on, I don't read manga so it was purely an art style thing: Look at the characters' eyes, the top "eyelid" as it were isn't completed in the real ones but is on Monitor's version.

I got the dungeon meshi one, cause Laios has a pretty distinct nose, so it looked off immediately

i failed all of them :( that just proves how fricking good this artist are

nice I got all of them right. They all looked great but all of them had little things that gave them away. often it was the composition that was just a tiny bit weaker then the real ones or the line quality gave it away. with the ranking of kings one the random panel of the castle made no sense from a storytelling perspective.

for the one piece panel chopper didn't see any pre time skip (red hat) dinosaurs, that was right before on little garden.

I was only about to figure out Normal’s death note panel because the speech bubble was behind Misa. Everything was so well drawn

The One Piece one was obvious from the moment I saw the panel. 1. Pretimeskip Chopper never saw any dinosaurs, he came into the story littlerally right after the dinosaur island. 2. The art was to unsmooth compared to the other 2 and is missing some crosshatching that Oda uses often.

Got six of eight, but Thirdphp stumped me both times! SomeNormalArtist got very close, but their cuter, cleaner style stood out against the artists for the manga they picked, and for yours it really just came down to the hatching

For Chopper I knew it instantly because the only time he might have seen a dinosaur is maybe in Wano, it could have been X Drake and he wasn’t wearing his Wano outfit, also he was introduced after Little Garden

For PopTeam Epic, I knew it was the second one, because if you look at the highlights in the black haired girls eyes, they're a little too straight and circular, unlike the ovals in the third panel. And it looked too clean to me as well. For FT (my fav, you can't fool me😤), I knew it was the first based on the background (the hatching is very distinct), Happy's ears and Happy's wings. His ears were too circular and his wings aren usually a tiny bit more detailed as well. For Death Note, I've never watched nor read it, but I have seen that girl's face before. And I know the Manga looks incredibly close to the anime, and I thought her face was a little too girlish and cute. I thought her eyes were too adorable and her hair lineart looked diff to the white haired guys hair too.

All of these were great! I think for me the easiest to spot was the colored one piece one, probably because I read so much of the manga back in the day. Even though the experession of Chopper was spot on, the line quality and hatching was really different from Oda's. I think One piece overall is a hard choice to replicate because Oda is a master at what he does (he's been doing it for decades, after all) and he has a very particular art style.

2:09 what gave it away for me where the speech bubbles. The shapes were pretty weird, but what was the most weird was the fact that the little arrows on them were double spiked, which is sth you just don't see in manga.

12:33 the fake one is actually higher resolution which is why I thought it was a red herring because they might have crunched the fake and real, then kept one normal to throw them off 😭

i got the last one right, marcille's crying face is super distinctive even with the inconistent art style and you got the eyes wrong.

Honestly for the pop team epic one the thing that gave it away for me was the fact that the top of the iris was closed because the eyes are normally drawn with the top line not drawn

13:18 In this one it was very obvious to me that it was the middle one because the color of the lineart was pure black unlike the other ones in which the lineart is lighter

1. third page looks very digital and has less structure to the shapes (the pecs are uneven, the face is loopsided) unlike the og which although not that well drawn has the feel of underlying structure to its shapes. also lines are too thick and the way the thickness varies is also very digital looking 2. 2nd's screentone looks weird bc screentone dots dont usually line up perfectly horizontal like that usually theyre diagonal. its the only thing that ticks me off bc everything else look similarly drawn 3. 1st natsu's lines looks really thick. but i almost not got it ngl i was gonna pick 2... the style was replicated v well 4. ive no familiarity w the artist so didnt know they only draw wamen but whats off to me is that the lines on the second panel is too sharp and neat. too high res. that is digital 4. the second yonkoma is compressed, but when they zoomed in the lines were all compressed in different ways like he composited several dif comics into one and drew some parts. really sus. the cock and balls didnt help lol 5. i didnt get it lol... am unfamiliar with the source material 6. second panel looks digitally colored. oda usually uses copic. shading too weak 7. as a big dungeon meshi head... laios and marcille simply look off. ryoko kui's style is blunt and rounded and laios would not make a face like that in her style. also its really high res. i tried not to remember the panels but i do recognize the og panels lol... this is really funnnn yall draw well. if i ever do something like this i will be zooming on every pixel fr

Funny enough, I could tell for the Dungeon Meshi one because of Marcille's hair- it was too plain, with no braids. Ironically, that is also a clue to finding out a fake Marcille from the real in the actual comic, as nobody can remember how she braids her hair, in-comic or IRL.

I guessed them all except Third panel 2 so kudos to him!!!

Honestly- what tipped me off about the fairy tail one is that happy is drawn too well. From reading and studying the art styles of a lot of manga and mangaka, and watching a lot of anime from those manga; I’ve come to learn that while the anime will resemble the art style of the manga, the manga never looks as accurate or clean. The way Happy was drawn in the third panel looked like it would be more accurate to how a mangaka draws their anime.

I knew it was 2 cause the basis for the scene you set up would have been little garden which is Before chopper is introduced, and Wano is the next point chopper could have that line, and he looks different post time skip
