It have a huge cooldown in fight so it's kinda balanced to be honest. You have to setup your curse before using it else you will lose so much value

idk what are you talking about. game is actualy shit, there is no feeling of anything from the book in a proper way. avada is just a spell like bombarda in this game. you can walk around hogward and kill students, and then attend classes. game feels like it would be some huge overhaul mod for other game, because it only has assets from harry potter, but whole story and every plot is just an utter shit with 0 consequences and meaningful rewards. it should be like that: you learn avada spell, you use it ONCE and at this point you unlock a whole other story, being banned and actually being an enemy to whole magic school and gov. like literally different game in a game. choosing a path of good or bad magican should DRASTICALLY change whole story and all plots, alll friends, enemies, etc, etc. rly disapointing game, but it would be literally the same as it is in case of genshin impact. game shit but since anime fanbase has no other good rpg game then all of them loves that game without caring how shit and p2w it is. same story for hl. shit as fuck, but since there is no rpg from harry potter there always would be some huge hr fans that will keep talking how good this game, while its shit again.

But i find it true that the game need to feel more like a dynamic world and need to adapt the choises you are doing. whatever you doing have absolute no repercution on the story and it's kinda sad. Even skyrim and oblivion managed that 15 years ago

@@EnmityTemplar J.K is more “I just got this idea and I’m making it the foundation of an entire book without a second thought of whether it’d work with the current story or not”, but that means the creativity is unrestricted. All the new information and stuff might not work once the entire story is already created and new storylines are added, but it’s pretty damn nice for kids.

It is not unforgivable against dragons. Only against humans. In fact it is used most often to kill a dragon, since they are immune to magic.

​@@lolerie No, it was an outlawed spell by 1717, doesn't matter what you use it against, it became unforgivable to use it, in the sense that using any of those three would land you in Azkaban for life. The only reason "Moody" used them in book four was because he wasn't actually Moody That being said, there were times where the three spells became legal: once during the war against Grindelwald, the other two times were the first war against Voldemort, and the second when he took over the ministry.

No, this spell is different. It's not as if needs to penetrate you, this spell in particular is said to be like ripping their soul from their body upon contact, like a wind gusting past and it taking your soul along with it.

@azurie580 that's not how the spell works. If it touches you at all you're dead. The argument could be made maybe a dragons scales protect it but it would never be limited to a certain number like 3

@@Callsign_Prophet Naah it is well known that Dragons are usually immune to magic, that's why knights were really important because they needed to kill Dragons with just regular weapons. In harry potter they never said if they are inmune or not, but I prefer if they are, then dragons are more increíble

@Alfredo Humberto the killing curse isn't a simple spell, literally nothing alive can resist it except 2 cases and even in both cases it still kills something. The spell doesn't work on the basis of normal spell because it only interacts with a living soul, and anything that is part of that living thing serves as a conduit to that soul. Infact it doesn't need to entirely land on the person, it just needs to make a contact at the most minute point. This was discussed in the book. The spell CAN be block by a non living object of certain size, the scales or skin of a dragon is part of it so it'll just conduct the spell right to the dragon's soul and rend it right out. That's the genius of the spell, the perfect spell for killing. The only two cases it could be resisted was Harry's mother turning herself into a loving sacrifice, meaning she was offered a chance to live but threw away that chance to die in Harry's stead and people have no souls due to splitting it into hocruxes and the flesh of the target not being a conductor to the soul (though the hocrux being hit with it would rend it) It operates more on the absolute metaphysical laws of the Wizarding world on souls and life rather than the mundane natural laws like resisting normal magic due to inborn characteristics. There is also that talent and power of the caster as well. Voldemort probably could kill anyone with the killing curse since he was just that strong and good at casting it and well loves killing, but someone with less talent, skill and fundamental undeestanding and desire to kill anything probably couldn't hurt a dragon with it. It's why it can bypass any magic shields and protections other than a loving sacrifice since it's basically just taking the shot for the recipient. That's also why you can just simply dodge the spell too.

There won't be a Triwizard Tournament DLC. The tournament was abolished in the 1700s, and Avalanche have said they're sticking to established canon, which means the Triwizard Tournament is banned. I expect that we will get Quidditch, but they're not going to do something that blatantly disregards the lore like that.

Poppy Sweetings Quest line, they appear briefly in a illegal fighting ring. I had no idea they were even the Hungarian Horntail or the Welsh Green when they appeared in the game.

A barrage of spells can eventually hurt a dragon, such as multiple wizards casting the Stunning Charm in unison, as in the Goblet of Fire, or an exceptionally powerful wizard, but not even the Killing Curse can one shot a dragon.

@@Katnaya doesn’t matter , the dragon hide is imbued with ancient magic as well XD , by exceptional caster I mean the likes of Dumbledore and Voldemort who could probably find alternate methods to subdue a dragon alone with their prodigious skill
