The debate performance was so bad that its rocked the foundation of Bidens support. Lines like 'we beat medicare', meltdown moments and stumbling over basic points. Dems anticipating some of those moments being replayed in ads closer to the election.

We should all be worried about the security and safety of our country. It’s being completely ignored by people who vote blue (that’s been me my whole adult life) because they aren’t being exposed to stark reality. I started watching congressional and senate hearings about six months ago, and I almost wish I would not have. That’s where I found out how truly bad things were from a national security standpoint. None of the issues that democrats are talking about will matter at all if we don’t take care of the real threats we are facing: if I add too much detail my comment will get deleted unfortunately.

If Joe isn't capable of campaigning the way he needs to, he's not capable of doing the job.

It's not about being old, it's about that he has degraded mentally so much that he is unable to function without support. People stepped up in 2020 because we do not want Trump to be in the whitehouse ever again. The ability to put the right people in the right places does, and this is what Biden has done thus far. He does not have to make every decision by himself, presidents rarely do that. I’m surprised Gov Roy Cooper of NC was never promoted last year as a candidate. He’s done a great job here, likable as a Democrat and under 70. His term ends this year, could’ve been a smooth transition. Regardless, I’m voting for Biden to safeguard our democracy. No one disputes that Biden has been a great president and has accomplished a great deal. However, American swing voters are not logical thinkers. Most of them rely on perception and what they have seen at the debate is what shakes them up and cast doubts on Biden's ability to carry on for the next term. If Biden has not debated Trump or refused to debate Trump, no one would question his position as the nominee on the democratic ticket. That debate was a gigantic mistake and that debate has caused people to doubt his ability to beat Trump.
