My favorite way to get an easy godmode is using the ITP against helis. I built a cancer lineup using the BP PT-76-57 and the ITP and I slap down some whirlybird for kicks. That and the ZIS-30 against the side of any tank, because I also have that in my lineup to cause harm.
I don’t they are considering that the A-10 flies slower than most late props, not to mention that this person used the Cannon Chaika, and made critical hits/killed by doing a stealthy head-on. If they were to die to something even more retarded like a B-29 or a Po-2 than it would understandable to be embarrassed.
The A-10 is armoured to tank up 23 mm, 30 mm modern AA supersonic bullets. Bullets that would shred other combat machines to bits. An I-15 barely has 4 x 7,62 mm MGs. Thinking an actual I-15 would stand any chance against an actual A-10 is nothing but pure blasphemy against reality itself. Why not admiral Nelson's ship-of-the-line against the HMS Belfast or the Strasbourg?
@@Briselance only the cockpit is armoured and only from attacks coming from down below a 10 can take some hits but 4 7.62 mgs shooting from 200-500m at it is not good for the planes life expectancy
The A-10 was made to protect against ground fire from a far distance, not enemy aircraft. I don’t get why people blame it on the aircraft when it’s not supposed to be against other aircraft, the bathtub protects from below, not the sides and especially not the window.

Well it does have titanium armor around vital compinents, it isn't a myth. Though the A-10 should be pretty much impervious to any machine gun round, of course it couldn't stop a tank shell.
depends on where you hit it, it is like saying that a person couldn't survive being shot in the foot. If the A-10 got shot in the cockpit, obviously it wouldn't survive. If it was shot in the engine, probably going to survive.

the early pre-war soviet planes are very cool, did u know i-15 can fly with the WHOLE wing ripped off. not just the tip, but the wing ripped off all the way to the fuselage
@@wojtekpolska1013 i never buy packs or anything really but i dont regret buying the KA-50. i've still been able to fly with literally half a helicopter, no tail, and it can loose a rotor and keep flying. Similar to the A-10 it will stop most heavy machine guns under .50, but anything heavier its bad. But unlike the A-10 the vikhrs can fire like 10 KM, well out of range of 99% of AA
In war thunder any aircraft can be shot down by anything as long as you hit it enough times. I have taken out multiple high rank jets with a 2.8(?) spaa without getting killed while being towed by a MBT. The spaa was an open top with 4 12mm machine guns I believe it was the M16GMC or something like that, rank 2 American spaa.
Highly likely? A biplane with fixed landing gear, open cockpit, two-bladed propeller, and piston-engined, with just four 7,62 mm MGs, having any luck against an A-10 in real combat???? 🤣 Why not using a Matilda II against an Abrams M1 or a Leclerc? Or even against an AMX-30?
@@Briselance in game, in a GRB game, where the possibility of thoes two meeting is the highest, most A10s are braindead so they do their gunrun and then do a sharp climb to get back on target, in almost every stage of this a biplane can murder an A10 because the pilots either ignore biplanes or are blind
And the engines are big, so lets say a I15/I153 sees an A10, if the I15 pilot is smart they can go low and fast at max speed, and then pepper the engines , which are quite fragile
@@PeachDragon_ that’s called hype. No aircraft can reliably survive rockets. If you meant missiles there are a very few rare cases but again almost no aircraft can survive sustained bursts of cannon fire if any plane at all. This isn’t GTA V.
The point is that a modern hyped to be impervious to fire thats less powerful than a cannon can be downed by a biplane. Still hilarious idiots spent 60$ on this lol
i know i can absolutely smoke A-10s with my Fw 190 A-1, although in custom battles not real battles because i don't own anything top tier except for my T-72AV, which is a ground vehicle.
@@primobiliran9967 but if the game mode doesn't allow you to spawn a heli right away, not having vehicles of a similar BR, or atleast vehicles still viable against those tiers then it makes no real difference. If you can't earn the RP you can't fly it, thats why new players should stay away from top tier packs, or any packs tbh.
@@JV-bj4kx you do realize the A-10 is considered highly Maneuverable. It’s roll rate is Similar to a Fw-190 and it’s able to pull some hard Gs with only having a average speed of 650-700

Oh yes because the A-10 was definitely designed for air-air combat and can withstand *fucking 20mm cannon fire*. It’s outrageous that the titanium tub designed to defend against *small arms fire coming from below* can’t stop a 20mm cannon.
well... italian biplanes are regarded as one of the best biplanes in history... 1920's italians sure knew how to make a really good flying pasta shooters.
The first thing I noticed during my test flights of the A10 was how much of the pilot is exposed with nothing but glass between them and the air. I immediately envisioned pilot snipe after pilot snipe and decided that I can wait. Test flight is fun enough
ok i feel that a-10 (especially the early) is KINDA slow atleast for its BR, has a good roll rate but the elevator and turn rate is meh just like fw 190 i guess, and no wonder why biplanes still can kill this plane hell even some rank 1 planes probably still can catch up with the a-10 but still in the end its all about skill issue
I'm sure one of these planes actually killed an f86 in the Korean war. The plane was too slow so the F86 had to slow down to be able to shoot it, which resulted a stall
Ok, it was really obvious that this video was going to use an I-153 or I-15 of some sort because it's the best biplane line in the game with the 4 machine guns in the nose. The thing is, the cannon chaika especially can destroy literally any aircraft no matter the type. I think you should try this with the Fury Mk. 1 and then I'll be impressed since that is the most biplaney biplane there is.

@@PiotrBarcz reason I think nimrod over swordfish despite better guns is bombs alone must be better than 2 7.7mm, and iirc I think the sword fish tail gunner is stronger than the front pilot’s single offset brrt of doom

The short answer is yes since planes dont really have the best armor since if a plane gets armor it would make tge plane to heavy to fly but that might change soon as technology becomes more advanced
god mode is based on the vehicle you playing: planes against planes and groud vehicles vs other ground vehicles. killing an abrams with a stuka will not give you god mode or vice versa (i know that cuz i killed almost every mbt with bombs on the french potez 631 and didnt get a single god mode)

thats the thing tho, its made to avoid ground target fire, so mostly from random soldiers trying to get a potshot on one, with machine guns, so its not really made for 20mm protection and surviving anti air, mostly just because it is going close to ground
I mean, I’ve killed every jet from a mig 9 to a F-104 with the Italian CR32 It’s not about the vehicle at this point, it’s about the player I take my CR32 into 9.7 matches constantly, as it’s a great plane for tagging enemies when I’ve run out of other vehicles, and good Anti- heli vehicle (As long as they arnt paying attention) But that’s kinda every vehicle ever? So the point is moot
Honestly the Italian aviation tree is my favorite at bottom tier, those guns are not to be underestimated and the bombers are some of the best rank I's out there imo
@@FlashHawk4 I agree, just wish the tree was fleshed out more further along, it feels like the Italian air tree peaks at 3.7, and I love the g.55, its just that with what everyone else has access to, the Italian tree is very lack luster
The a10 has redundant system's and back ups but in war thunder you know how that works and it's USA so bias against anything that flys in USA is made of paper
This just proves that the A10's damage model is terrible. It should not be that easy to shoot it down. I'm not saying it should be invincible I'm just saying it is made of paper right now.
Whats going on is what happened with the Fj4b VMF 232. A lot of new players go and get a high tier jet, dont know how it works, then die and earn it a rep for being bad. the VMF is my favorite plane but everyone called it shit because there were like level 10s and 20s using it. Now its just happening with the A10
My now ex friend did something similar and bought himself a mig 21, the premium russian one, he was so overconfident until i shot him down 4 times in a custom battle with an f2h
These A-10 players have serious skill issues. They aren't even paying attention, especially the one at night, who's supposed to have night vision. Otherwise, they would've circled and gunned you down rather than flying straight.
