I absolutely would adopt an animal with special needs. I had a three legged cat named Spunky that I homed when his parents were moving away and were going to put her in the shelter. Than you for being so good to Maisie 🎉🎉🎉

Yes they can be happy and have a normal life. I had a blind hedgehog, rescued, found her in a terrible condition, she was so happy and lived happily with us until she died for old age. Thank you for sharing 🥰 Luv you Maisie and Family.

Well when I rescued my Little Missy (tuxedo cat) out of the bushes with her two kittens I soon discovered that they (the kittens) had been blinded by a severe eye infection. The boy cat actually had the resulting scar tissue gradually clear up over the months & years, but my tortoiseshell girl, Patty Pawsitivity, has never seen anything more than vague lights & shadows through the thick scar tissue. I did wonder at first if it would be an extra "burden" taking care of a blind kitty, but she is super smart, has been a delight & you can hardly tell she's blind most of the time. She is actually way more active than the other cats (still playing hard while everyone else is sleeping!), so she actually likes it when I move things around & change up the environment from time to time. She likes exploring & discovering the new nooks & crannies & you'd think it would be hard for her to play with normal cat toys, but she bats them around more than anyone else! 😹😹😹

i guess the key is to have a loving home. Maisie, from what I've seen from your video's you have a very loving home. i have a cat, if he were to go blind for whatever reason, he would still have a home with me.

Currently myself i wouldn't adopt a pet with a disability, considering a few things. Depending what's wrong with it i might not be financially able to support it. And all of my current cats are able-bodied and would probably bully a deaf/blind/3 leg cat.
