Disney Lorcana can be expensive to play, but I don't want it discourage players from thinking they need to buy the most expensive, popular meta decks! In this final episode to see if budget decks can hold their own against constructed decks I play my Emerald/Ruby budget deck against SneakyBuffalo's Amber/Ruby deck! Having won game 1, and lost game 2, will I come out victorious? I will my budget decks actually fall short?

One thing I've found is that just getting a duplicate of a starter deck can help you get to 4x of a lot of useful cards and get you a 2nd of some of those really good cards that a single starter deck only has 1x of

Great video series! Wondering if it’s possible to showcase in more depth how you play decks like this against specific “meta” decks like amber/steel or Ruby/amethyst. Going into detail on mulligan strategies, play styles, etc. Keep up the great content!

Thanks for the feedback! I'd love to do something like this, but it would likely be without gameplay and a more in depth video on general strategy from testing. Mainly because it's difficult to find people in person to play with who know those decks well (and have the cards 😅)

I think it’s crazy that I can’t buy cards because of everyone scalping. There are no decks, packs, or anything else around where I live due to scalping

Love this series. Kuzco not that cheap though these days. Any suggestion on how to replace it?

The best thing you can do is find another high lore quester and use them. Hanz, or Mad hatter come to mind. But as stated in the video, the more expensive cards in these budget decks really make the deck so much stronger and you're likely to see it perform worse if you try to cut them. It won't be impossible, but you'll be at a bigger disadvantage. Thank you for watching!!
