Today we're taking a look at the potential of ChatGPT to make me faster in simracing! Check out the inspiration for this video: • I FIRED my iRacing dri... 👚MERCH teespring.com/...
I use it for more general questions and things about acc. It helped me decide on cars, as I can ask them specific questions that are might not answered by videos or articles. It does not seem to have any resemblence of meta, since it recommends the M6 a lot, while pretty much ignoring the M4. Most tips are generic there, but gut enough. I also use it as a learning tool to teach me about how to handle understeer in setup and so on, it has a good amount of knowledge there and can infer things that should be. Or tips on how to handle certain techniques and ways to pratice them. I also had a pretty good talk about how to handle rage and on the concept of overdriving vs practicing. It kinda is google with some more personal answers. For specifics i feel nothing will beat a real coach if you want answers fast. The selflearning way by experimenting or watching other people is the most rewardng way imo.
I think asking ChatGPT for information about general stuff works a lot better indeed. When it comes to specifics, you really need to refine your questions to get a great answer. And I agree that watching some other people drive fast, and experimenting with what you've learned is one of the most rewarding things when it comes to learning in sim racing!
Oooooo, AiRacing ChatGT3GPT !!! Not A Successful Approach this was. Not sure ANY ai is going to help get faster. But this was very interesting for sure lol
