The cv half actually holds the hub together. You take the the shaft apart and torque the stub back into the hub. Lol. I know from experience.

For the GM trucks you need Cognito pitman and idler supports, and hd alloy tie rods. This will correct the toe-in play inherant in these trucks... Good luck boys!

Great video! Wheeling is all about good times. Unfortunately the half ton chevy axles and shafts are a bad weak point. I have a 93 suburban 3/4 ton with the 350 and beat the shit out if it with zero issues. Unfortunately the 4L80 finally burned out but the front end was extremely solid.

Gmt800 and if Married Tahoe needs good tires for cheap I highly recommend nankang mudstars 128 a tire on Amazon js

me: sees title also me: thinks about the '01 Silverado in our yard that still runs and drives perfectly with 450,000 miles on it while our friends have cummins trucks that blew engines and transmissions after 3 years. hemi's have serious valve-train issues after about 100,000 miles. your looking at an entire motor replacement by the way. everybody swaps LS motors into their vehicles, not hemis. the camaro zl1 1le beat a hellcat redeye by a full second in the quarter mile (look it up). if you buy a dodge truck made after 2002, your crazy. the first and second gens, real solid trucks. so were the old power wagons.
