Little pump 69 then military threw the coconades and it exploded with so much force that 20 people were injured(mostly enemies) and 5 deaths (all enemies) Then the enemy retreated then the military brought out the rocket propelled coconuts nad the mortars and they just unloaded on the enemy Then they both banned coconuts from war and thats why we mever use them

I would imagine so, since the fuse has gunpowder in it I doubt it would blow out. Getting the fuse to stay in the coconut and in contact with the powder inside would be the bigger challenge.

marcofico1 The whole idea of coconut grenades is that they're an improvised weapon to use if you're stranded like the Robinsons were in the book.film The Swiss Family Robinson. So you probably don't have hot glue, though you're probably right in that you could just wrap the fuse in more of whatever material you used to make it and cram it into the hole.

also you can put in bunch of steel BBs or small hex nuts into the mix and boom you got a shrapnel bomb! Small rusty nails will inflicted the most damage plus you can get blood poisoning if the nails wound you.

Wrap the coconut all around in several layers of thin string since it would allow the pressure to build up before rupturing which in return would cause much more damage especially with shrapnel

You could try to make coconut Smoke bombs ! If you mix up some of your Potassium nitrate, sugar and add some melted oil crayons you can even color the smoke.
