Can Double Cash Mode REPLACE Farming? (Bloons TD 6) 

I did some calculations after finishing the game to see if the defense was affordable without Double Cash in the first place. Tier 1 and 2 are 100% affordable. Tier 3 total spend was about $100,175; total income by round 80 is $98,253 so about there. Tier 4 total spend was about $271,605 ($172,175 only counting Ultraboost), total income by round 100 is $179,644. Tier 5 total spend was about $509,700, total income by round 120 is $267,108. Can obviously optimize a lot, use Avatar of Wrath, sell stuff for a Paragon etc. if you wanna do it without DCM, but it does make this whole thing a walk in the park which should be useful for casuals, especially since NK has been ramping up the difficulty in the recent boss events.

Double cash is great for collection events when you want to speed through impoppable maps on expert

I bought double cash mode originally to support NK because i got the game for like 2 bucks on steam years ago. It makes half cash mode less frustrating. Now i only use it in coop because splitting cash 4 ways isnt fun at all

Double Cash is affected by anything that changes cash per pops. So bloon trapping, rubber to gold, and monkey town is broken. With monkey town, you're basically working with triple cash.

I agree it is basically just a " bonus" while doing a boss or any map for your sake. What makes double cash the most usefull is the double starting gold. Some boss events give you an nice bit of money or extra to help you out on that weeks boss. IF enough money given, being able to throw down defense AND your very first farm from round 1 is honestly pretty crazy and snowballs hard in combination with the double pop count and double end of round cash rewards. I've had banks at round 9-11 WHILE having a defense up that will last for a while, depending on the map of that week ofcourse. After all that it basically still comes down to knowledge to defeat a boss. Based on map and bans ofcourse.

The only time I’d ever use Double Cash is for Half Cash (which I despise) but I already have half the medals for it so it’s just not worth it for me, definitely nice for casual players wanting to beat bosses or impoppable though

I always use it. Idk I just like the game being easier. I play it for stress relief not to be a RU-vidr though.

I've never played x2 cash mode as too many modes don't allow it and using it where it is allowed doesn't help for practising where it's disabled, inc. CHIMPs, Races and Ranked Bosses.

Hyper farming makes boss events so boring, so double cash instead would def be better for them

I bought it years ago and haven’t turned it off. Double Cash makes me actually play the harder maps. I’ve black bordered most Expert maps now

Half Cash with double cash is just normal cash, except farms, they still give half. Farms aren't affected by double cash Also a good start for a boss early on is to get a 520 sniper on strong and a 025 sniper on first. It's cheap epic damage. After that go your own way lol

I like Double Cash for the money boost also making some mobile unfriendly Advance Challenges beatable with additional towers/path upgrades.

I use DC a lot, and before even watching, I can confirm it actually does a solid job at replacing farming. Although, I still tend to get a 2-3-0 farm or two for some extra cash.

i have double cash mode for 2 reasons, 1 is to support the devs, and 2 is cuz i lost my old account when i got back into the game about 9 months ago. i had up through every silver badge on every map and a few black borders, and i knew grinding all that out again would suck, so i got it to speed me along

Doubie Cash seems to be best vs Dreadbloon. That is because double cash for some reason also doubles Lead to gold money from 50 to 100. And with Dreadbloon replacing a lot bloons with Lead Bloons it may even outperform T3 Farms on heavy lead rounds while also being affordable defense for those rounds.

Back in btd5 i did get it and it even doubled the amounts you got from farms too 😂 it was so OP

I recently bought Double Cash Mode because I have a massive skill issue, and oh boy was it worth it. The only thing I was disappointed of is that it doesn't work in Chimps (while that would be the one reason people would buy it 😅)

The way I see it, double cash is more so to lower the skill ceiling. Making it easier for people who don't put alot of time into the game/were fans of the flash game and gives more room for mistakes

I love double cash, it made the game easier than it already is. I don’t want to do rank events so no need to worry about it. I have it on for the last hundreds of hours and it’s honestly the best and worth it, you can try crazier things

I got double cash after playing with my friends for a while cause they had double cash and I just felt like I was doing so much less than them. Plus it allows me to plow through most of the easier stuff to black border maps and have a relaxed experience. Tho I do still try to do Chimps on my own and come up with my own strategies cause I do still like a challenge.

I have double cash, but I'll only really use it for half cash or co-op with new players so I can at least save us from losing lol

Honestly, I only use it for odyssey and daily challenges, not the advanced challenge because it's just easy money. I bought double cash a while back using your creator code, because for support and because you help me with advanced challenges. Keep up the great work, Ethan!

i have double cash and always use it as i am mainly a casual player so doing all these challenges isnt what im about i just like to sit back and relax and not need to have a bcentral by round 40 every game

tbf Ethan you should redo this and use towers that actually work alongside the double cash and are buffed by it increasing cash flow even more. As rubber to gold is doubled for example

Also etienne has a upgrade that grants night vision so the camo goggles on the sniper was bad

The single only reason I bought it was for trophy farming this way I don’t have to spend hours planning I just get to do

I use double cash mode when I'm playing to relaxed. It'll make your stupid decisions not ruin the game.

I have it because I lost 4 years of progress and all my skins, and trophy skins, as well as being that ascendant level 3, it's helped me speed up my exp farming getting back all of my progress lost

2x cash make half mode probably the hardest mode next to chimps just normal cash.

Bought double cash the day btd6 came out. Been using it for over five years.

i have it, but i rarely use it. most of the times i enable it when i push late game for fun, just cause it makes getting farm started very easy, but i don't use it in challenges or bosses.

I have not spent any irl money in btd6 as of this message, only the purchase price to get it on steam on sale for like $5. Most of the stuff I've gotten though me just casually playing in the game for about 2 years now, but I don't often do boss, race, or contested territory events because I'm not that great at the game.

I kinda wish DCM worked for ALL cash. Unlike in BTD5, it doesn't apply to other sources of income such as farms and banks, merchantmen and favored trades, supply drops from snipers and chinooks, druid's jungle's bounty, temples and true sun gods, and Benjamin's end-of-round cash.

It would be interesting to see videos that defeat the bosses with no/minimal farming/selling.

Bought it on PC but played long time on iOS Apple Arcade and does not has this. Makes game indeed a lot easier en chimps is just still the same. But on iOS always played with out extra cash generation. Half cash is so much easier with double cash :)

Im not spending more money on a game i bought just to make it trivially easy. Farming is ten times better.

I use it and never turn it off. When I play this game I want a more relaxed experience. People who like the challenge of course would play with it off. I don’t care though. And I play plenty of CHIMPS, which double cash doesn’t work on. It doesn’t feel like some big hindrance to me.

you should do a boos chimps run with double cash (or single) its a really fun challenge that I have done and I think it would make a great video

I dont think you can buy stuff with just the netflix version of the game so i always thoguht double cash was some random power up or something, never realized how op it is I'd say it definitely counts as cheating or a game where you use it isnt legit

I've always disliked things like double cash mode. It's effectively Pay-to-Win. I despise pay-to-win features.

I use it to farm MM and test bosses for tier 4 and 5. Double cash that is.

I actually beat normal bloonarius half cash without farming with the exception of benjammin

I only use Double Cash when grinding.

Double cash makes every gamemode but chimps super easy, the only challenge would maybe be half cash, but even then its just hard mode, if thats difficult to you then skill issue

I have and use double cash for everything. I just play this as a mindless time passer, so idc about a challenge, and it makes it fun because its almost like creative mode every time I play

Double cash in btd5 was fun at first but lost its appeal quickly. I dont imagine 6 would be different.
