I'm afraid so. Max is not going to fumble this WDC I don't think, but it's going to be an uphill battle for Red Bull in the constructors if Perez is having to work his way through from P18 half the time to *maybe* recover to P6 or so in the race.

I think that Fred bringing a relaxed atmosphere is what ferrari needed. He allows fun a lot of the time but when its time to get serious everyone knows. He has brought that team alive. also replacing Xavi with his new engineer is great. the fact that anytime leclerc asks something its no longer constanly "we are checking" has brought confidence and that has brought leclerc a better mindset letting him have a little bit more faith in what the team is doing.

Kinda getting 2019 vibes at this point. It starts out with a bunch of 1-2 finishes for the current dynasty in the sport, making it look like it's on-track to be one of the more dominant seasons from one team that we'll ever get to see, but then by the summer months we end up with three different teams at the top with a realistic chance of winning regularly, making the individual races interesting even if the championship doesn't go all the way down to the wire.

Drivers' title is not happening - I fully believe that Max will win at least 10 more races this year. BUT the Constructors' championship I think is realistic. All we need is Checo to keep being mid as heck.

Charles has a 0 % chance of WDC. Ferrari have maybe a 5 % chance of WCC if both their drovers stay consistent and Perez form continues to drop. Even then they would need to chip away a few wins of Verstappen, but it would be a huge snatch and grab championship

If Perez struggles, yeah they could actually win the constructors. The biggest clue will be after the summer break. so if the upgrades keep coming and are strong. .it can actually happen. drivers not, but Constructors for sure.

Can? Mathematically it's possible. We will still have updates coming later in the season, we know that Red Bull have some tracks they struggle with, with the claim of media and fanbase that they are still the best on the traditional tracks. The question remains, is that still the case? Or are they being pushed to an extend where now some weaknesses are exposed? Additionally, McLaren is still around and kicking the front. So it'll depend completely. Only noteworthy thing to say, is the mathematical possibility. Too many variables currently.

Honestly, McLaren are far more likely. They've challenged for wins at 3 completely different tracks (Monaco, Imola, Miami) since their upgrade package, whereas Ferrari have only done-so at Monaco. and have been comfortably enough behind McLaren and Red Bull at Imola and Miami. Max will still win it all, but if anyone is challenging him, its Lando and McLaren.

@@saiyerugara9038 That is ridiculous 💀 Ferrari have been lightyears off McLaren in 2 of the last 3 races and when they are faster its at tracks like Monaco, and there are very rarely tracks like Monaco. McLaren have had some awful luck the last 3 races. Lando DNF in the Sprint (not his fault), MV slipstream (wouldve been a 1-2), Oscar's penalty (not his fault). McLaren could've just as easily outscored Ferrari the last 3 weekends as Ferrari have them. Give it 2-3 more races and you'll realise just how far ahead they are of Ferrari on actual race tracks...

@bill4665 Whatever the case may be though, the fact is so far McLaren have only outscored Ferrari at Imola so far and even that was by 5 points. Of course McLaren could go on to do good things in UK and Austria, idk about Canada because they haven't had a good race there in a hot minute but at the moment I think Ferrari have been more consistent than McLaren at the very least. Only 1 Ferrari has finished outside the top 5 in either the Sprint or main races this year and that was Bearman's P7.

I miss wheel knowledge, that was actually useful and I did learn a few things ☹️ not a fan of the rebrand and content on this channel since it’s just clips from the podcast. if you want a clips channel for extra revenue and shorter form content for people who don’t like watching full podcasts then by all means make a clips channel, I have no problem with clips channels when they’re transparent about being a clips channel, but don’t try and sell us recycled content as something “extra”
